Yoga sculpt

Has anyone done the My vinyasa practice power sculpt? Online training? The curriculum looks promising- looks thorough and includes anatomy and background etc

I love the corepower style- utilizing weights, incorporating simple yoga poses/flow and final shavasana. Also appreciate a beat driven flow.

My favorite yoga sculpt teacher moved away, having withdrawals so I am feeling inspired to learn how to teach it myself…

Teacher training

Took an amazing weekly hot yoga sculpt class in CT- instructor was corepower trained, but unfortunately moved. Are there virtual options for teacher training for those of us who don’t live in a state with corepower or is there another training similar to corepower style yoga sculpt?? I saw My vinyasa practice power sculpt which looked promising.

I’ve tried taking other similar class styles and nothing compares. Having withdrawals so I decided I was inspired to learn to teach it myself…

One week in April

My friend and I are exploring the idea of our first mini Camino. We aren’t set on a timeline yet, but potentially have about 7-9 days in April. Ideally would love to go through the Basque country as I have family there- that makes this extra meaningful for me.
Already walking about 5-7 miles together every weekend.
Which part of the trail (starting and ending points, where to fly in and out) would be ideal?

Buen Camino

No bridal party

We are having a smaller wedding (approx 50 people) and don’t plan on having a bridal party. We are having our siblings be our best man/maid of honor.

Looking for creative ideas that people have done to still include close friends/ make them feel special and get photos with them.

An idea I had was to invite my closest girlfriends an hour early for a toast with the photographer there.

Open to any creative ideas-even just creative unique ideas to ensure our guests to have a wonderful time.

Documentary style photographer 2027

Please recommend your favorite documentary-style wedding photographer for a CT wedding!

We're looking for someone who captures lots of candid, natural moments rather than heavily posed photos.
We're both a little awkward in front of the camera, so we'd love someone fun who can help us relax and get beautiful, frame-worthy shots.

Bonus points if they're budget-friendly (under 3k)- we're absolutely open to photographers who are newer to the industry!
Extra bonus points if they speak Spanish, as both of our families are bilingual.

Hidden gem venues

Any hidden gem “venues” that may not be traditional venues within 1 hour from Hartford area?
So far I’ve stumbled upon The Charles restaurant in Old Wethersfield, the West Hartford Art league- looking for ideas for similar places for a small wedding. I’ve noticed the same places (usually very expensive) are listed on websites or come up when searching.
50-60 people max.

Unique wedding ideas

In the early stages of planning and have been brainstorming non-traditional wedding formats that may also help us reduce cost.

I had the idea recently of renting out a larger Airbnb with a scenic background (ie lake, garden) with a plan to have the ceremony there (will keep it 50 people or less), then provide transportation to a nearby restaurant that could host 50 people or less for dinner.

After dinner, we would return to the Airbnb, and people would not feel obligated to stay, but those who did we could have music playing and kind of like a hangout.

Does this seam like a feasable idea?
Figured it saves on- DJ, bringing in tables and chairs, tent etc. overpaying for catered wedding dinners.

If anyone has an idea of a restaurant in mind in Connecticut or surrounding areas, please feel free to share as well.

Wedding ideas

Looking for creative wedding ideas(the format or location of the event) in order to bring the cost down (ideally under 15k), can be non-traditional. We want a more intimate wedding but for it to still be memorable and fun.

Have been doing a lot of research and have a few ideas but wanted to brainstorm with the masses…

I love to dance, so wanted to make sure there was some element of a dance floor / dancing

Bonus points for specific locations/venues/restaurants in CT/MA/RI or upstate New York!
