Boss Fuzz FZ-5 (Demo)

The Boss FZ-5 has 3 fuzz modes based on classic vintage pedals from the ’60s and ’70s:

- F (Fuzz Face)

Warm, thick, and smoother sounding. It cleans up nicely when you roll down your guitar’s volume knob. Great for Hendrix-style tones, blues rock, and classic vintage fuzz.

- M (Maestro FZ-1A)

More aggressive, buzzy, and raspy. It has that classic “garage rock” and “broken speaker” character from the ’60s. Dirtier and more raw sounding.

- O (Octavia)

A fuzz with an added octave-up effect. More psychedelic and wild, especially for solos and upper-register playing. Perfect for experimental Hendrix-style lead tones.

The pedal uses COSM modeling from BOSS to recreate these three classic fuzz styles in one unit.

Epiphone SG G400 leftie

This Epiphone SG G-400 used to be mine.

Because I needed money at the time, I had to sell it.

It’s loaded with a pair of active EMG 81/85 pickups.

I still hope someday I can get it back.

Who is a Modulation addicted?

Both are japanese, classic Boss!

The DC-3 isn't a classic Chorus. It sounds more "spacial".

NPD! Gears Compressor CKK

NPD!

Found this CKK Gears compressor for a good price and decided to give it a shot. So far, it's surprisingly good. Plenty of sustain when needed, but the blend knob helps keep the attack and dynamics intact.

Anyone else using one of these?

Basic Pedalboard

I put together this basic pedalboard that gives me a surprisingly versatile range of sounds.

The signal chain starts with a Rowin tuner.

Next comes a Chinese-made Classic Chorus, which I use for both clean tones and driven sounds.

The Gambler by CKK Pedals serves as an overdrive that can go from low to high gain, and it also works great as a gain boost for distortion.

The Flaming Lips, also from CKK Pedals, is my main distortion pedal, offering an amazing range of gain and tonal possibilities.

Finally, there's the Soul Echo, another CKK Pedals unit—a warm analog delay with an extremely useful volume boost feature.

As for the pedalboard itself, it's just a piece of MDF that I found on the street.Se quiser um texto com um tom mais descontraído e típico dos posts de gear/pedalboards do Reddit, também posso adaptar a redação.

Does anyone knows this brand?

This is a Telecaster Big Head with Seymour Duncan P90 Fat Cat. It was made in Brazil, but nowadays, they build in USA. Does anyone knows Cohnway Guitars?

Mini Pedalboard Boss

I built this mini Boss pedalboard with the goal of keeping things as straightforward and practical as possible.

The HF-2 covers modulation duties, ranging from subtle textures to more psychedelic sounds, and can even work as a sort of pseudo-chorus.

The SD-1 works as my first gain stage and also as a boost to push the amp’s distortion a bit further.

And finally, the DSD-2 is there for soft ambient textures and space.

I love Boss pedals, so I’ve decided to build an all-Boss pedalboard using some pedals I already have here. Most of them were made in Japan in the 1980s.

The signal chain is:

TU-3 - PH-2 - BF-2 - CE-2 - OD-1 - OD-2 - DS-2 - GE-7 - DD-3 - RV-3

I hope you enjoy.
