How would a world that mixes antiquity era, and flintlock/renaissance fantasy work?

I've been researching different eras to base my world off of to give it a unique vibe(and to avoid medieval stasis), and i was considering incorporating an antiquity era world with flintlock/renaissance aspects (such as gunpowder). how would this work?

what I’m most interested in is how classical art and gunpowder would affect Greco-Roman style nations (notice how I said style. i dont just have fantasy Greece in my setting). i know most bronze and early iron would not really hold up with gunpowder, but this is fantasy and magic can do magic stuff. even if only mages have access to this stuff because only they could use it, that would still make for some interesting material.

what would be some interesting events and circumstances to come out of this mix, and how would i blend these two eras well? i feel like I’m on the verge of something really cool, i just need to get it to work well together. thanks in advance!

What to consider when building a flintlock fantasy setting?

I’m starting to sketch out a world for a TTRPG (Pathfinder) game and I’ve always loved the idea of a flintlock fantasy style game. Essentially the idea is a relatively traditional DnD type fantasy world that has evolved into something resembling the 1700’s to early 1800’s.

I was wondering what sorts of major changes and such would come about from this shift vs a traditional fantasy setting.

I know one of the major themes/issues from that period was the rise and consequences of colonialism which I’m not sure how I would even go about addressing that or if I even should.

Another element I’m always a sucker for is the idea of the change in powers that comes from shifts in technology, ideology, and generations.

Firearm resurgence

I haven't played dnd, but I have read about the Forgotten Realms, and as someone fascinated with the presence of firearms in fantasy, I inevitably came upon the subject of smokepowder and that Gond has rendered it inert out of concern for his worshippers' safety, creating a fantasy gun control

However, in recent years, firearms have become more present, from the Drow gunslingers of the Bregan D'aerth to the gunslinging smokepowder thieves from Baldur's Gate mentioned in the story of the Half-Orc Bladsinger and Investigator Dram Dragoyin, whose artwork depicts him carrying a flintlock pistol

Did Gond reactivate smokepowder once again, allowing the production of firearms?

I think Holiday events should be separated from the main storyline

New players who want to take part in those events might become confused and be spoiled; heck, I was confused and did not understand what was being referred to.

Making holiday events one-shots that don't reference the current events might make it easier for players who haven't made it to that point

level 28-30 player vs undead ninjas

Once you reach level 28 and unlock the Queen of Hearts quest from the Devourer Saga, one of the most frustrating battles is when you fight the trio of undead ninjas. If you are a level 5 fighter, you should be able to outlast them by spamming second wind, but as an archer or a mage, that's a different story

If you run out of mana, it's over, and there's a chance they could evade or withstand special arrows, and at this level you can't exactly get your hands on an abundance of health and mana potions

Campaign Meal by RifleInfantry

Long marches in the borderlands. We'd long left the woodland by now, but the lupar scouts persisted-- General Nieuvanter wanted every pair of keen eyes he could get. As a "yellow jacket"-- one of Nieuvanter's marksmen-- I pulled picket duty again and again. Thus by chance I ran into Acco again and we were both relieved to learn the other hadn't fallen.

As pickets, we ate at our posts-- iron rations and what we could forage. I sat on fallen trunks and ate squirrel and rabbit when it could be had. Some days my musket found no mark and I cracked my teeth on salted hardtack. It was on one of these glum times that Acco happened by.

"Bad luck?" He'd improved his Lowlander a bit, but it was still stilting and growled.

"Not a hare for ten leagues, I reckon. Nothing but worm castles to subsist on."

Acco sniffed the air. Lupar are not known for expressive faces, yet I could still read his disgust.

"How can eat that? Like feed for pig. Here."

He had a sheepskin pouch on his belt from which he produced some small round brown chunks. I took them for meatballs at first. They smelled of jerky and tallow. I tossed my hardtack aside and bit experimentally into one. Fat and powdered venison jerky and wild blueberries. I tore into them with relish. Relative to spoiled flower and salt biscuits they were like manna.

"What do you call this stuff?"

"Pemmican. Keeps five years. Always have some."

"...Are you willing to trade?"

"Give you pouch for your hat."

"Damnation."

For three weeks I went bare-headed.
