Look son, that’s where we come from!

I’ve been trying to take this photo for two weeks now but the sky is not cooperating. Even though it was supposed to be clear last night and even checking apps and with my eyes before I drove a bit to a country road. As soon as I got there clouds came in over the Milky Way core. So I turned north and after getting them set up, shot composed, boom clouds come in everywhere. In the end though I really like this image. Only thing I’d change is the Milky Way sky instead of the Big Dipper. I’ll try again. I took a tutorial video while out there but didn’t realize you can’t post photo and video. Nikon Z6ii, 20mm shot at 2.8, iso 2500 for 30 seconds, edited in Lightroom

Food truck project

My project the last couple weeks has been shooting animals interacting with Lego food trucks, and the new pizza shop. My camera is on the ground with a wireless remote shutter. The fox squirrels were taken in my yard and take a day or two to get the shot I want. It can take weeks or longer for bird shot, wish I had more. The ground squirrel, chipmunks and Canada Jay were all taken in Breckenridge while I was there for an art festival. It’s so much easier getting animal interactions there. Sometimes it got kinda crazy, I recorded all of it on my phone. I’m starting a mail club and wanted the first month’s theme to be this. I think next month I’m going to try upscaled minifigs

It’s been a while since I’ve shared my photos on here. So here’s what I’ve got so far this year!

Not doing any Omaha events this year so I thought I’d share my new works in here. Thanks to many of you in this subreddit and Omaha in general, I was able to quit my job of 20 years to do this full time!

Finally got some time to do what I love the last couple weeks. Z6ii 105MC S

I use a wireless remote trigger to capture these moments. Just got one for my Z8 and can’t wait to see the results

Is this easily recognizable?

I’m coming to Denver for an event and made a few photos specifically for it. Bluecifer was one of them. Not being from the area I wanted to check with people that are. If you walked past this image would you know right away what it is? Thanks!
