Do characters have accents in Japanese?

I've only watched the movies in English, but in movies like Howl's Moving Castle, Earwig (don't judge, it's my 5yos favorite 🙄) and other ones where the characters seem to be in England or have English accents, are the Japanese versions giving their characters English accents?

I know the majority of the English dubbed ones are in American accents, but I was wondering if the OG voice actors make it a point to change their accent if the setting is in England?

I mainly ask because I don't know Japanese, so I don't think I would be able to tell by listening if there was a different accent.

John is such a creep!

Just started season 3 and I can't get over how much of a POS this guy is right off the bad. Haven't seen the girlfriend on screen yet, so have no opinion on her. But for him to drop a roadside wedding on her, and assume they're gunna smash in the back of his truck, as soon as soon as she gets out, is insane! We've all seen how overwhelming getting out of jail is for these people, and she even said she doesn't know if she's in love yet. So to just assume she'll be on board to have sex right away is such selfish, predatory behavior.

If she ends up being down for it, then good for her. But I'd feel so bad if she felt like she had to. A lot of women in prison have been taken advantage of, so right out the gate, here comes another man trying to do that, with no regard for asking what she's ok with...

Why is everyone ignoring the elephant in the room?

Are producers not addressing that Clint is clearly on drugs too, or are his parents really that nieve? I'm on the episode where Tracey is back and jail cause they were sleeping in their car and she had meth on her. Clint claims he had a "weed" pipe, but I highly doubt it was weed. But then why didn't he go to jail too? And is Tracey just taking the fall for him everytime so he can continue to try to convince his parents he's not strung out everytime he goes over there? I just don't dig all this just blaming Tracey BS...

What am I in for?

So I'm about half way through season 2 and I'm already floored with what is going on! Tracie leaving Clint the morning after they get married; Michael is juggling both Megan and Sarah (frankly I'm pissed production didn't intervene with that one. That poor girl waited to give her virginity to him!); And Matt & Caitlin are just headed for disaster (I honestly wouldn't care much about them if they weren't from my home town).

I'm just not sure you can top this season so shocking moments. Am I in for a huge bomb in the coming seasons??

Shin Bowls

Are the Shin bowls different than the cups? I don't like the taste of instant noodles and I'm hoping it tastes more like bagged ramen.

Mamoru is such an ass!

Rewatching, and it's really hard to get past Season 2 Mamoru! I just hate issues that could be resolved by communication (I know Anime is chalk full of them, but still!). I get he's trying to protect Usagi, but does he have to be such a butt head about it?! He keeps coming around just to snub her. At least leave the poor girl alone!

END RANT!!

Sports Ideas for a timid 5 Year old?

My son is turning 5 next month and he's always been very cautious and timid when it comes to adventure or anything "athletic". We've tried t-ball, gym, swimming & wrestling (wrestling because my cousin was running a program for littles) and all of these things seemed to really overwhelm him and he would cry or stand back and not want to participate. No matter how much we try to encourage him, he really sinks into himself...

He starts kindergarten in the fall, so I'm hoping recess and PE may open him up a bit more, but I was hoping for some suggestions on activities or sports that he can get his exercise, but may be a little less overwhelming.

Wellbutrin & Lexapro

I've been on Lexapro for a few months now for my anxiety and depression, but I haven't really noticed much of a difference, so I was waiting for my next doc appointment to discuss switching to something else.

But I just went to a psychiatrist to get an ADHD assessment and was diagnosed with ADHD and we felt like Wellbutrin was the right option (to help with motivation). She told me not to stop my Lexapro until we have a good read on how the Wellbutrin affects me.

My question is, has anyone not seen much improvement from Lexapro until being on Wellbutrin? I'm wondering if the Wellbutrin is the kickstart I need to start noticing a difference with my anxiety...

(I'm female if that makes a difference)

Skin Peeling Thumb

Most my life I've delt with dry skin on my thumbs that peels and I have a habit of picking so badly that it peals around the the pad of my thumb and scar tissue on top of scar tissue has formed. I've started putting band aids on to prevent me from picking so it could heal, but I was curious if there were other methods that help it breathe a bit better.

Kayaking Shorties

So I'm a 5ft woman who's just gotten her first kayak... I thing I've gotten the hang of putting it on my car (a jeep grand cherokee). I got one of those rollers that attach to the back window, some J bars and a step stool. But I haven't quite mastered the art of taking it down... mostly pushing it back far enough that it won't slide off my car, but that I can jump and grab the end and balance it on the roller. But what I've noticed is that it gets to a certain part of the roller and wants to slide off, and along my car and onto the ground.

My main question if for better tips on how to offload better, but I'm also open to hearing methods of tying down without me having to climb on both sides of my car.

Any shorty tips are greatly appreciated 😊

Kayak Tracking

Does the Vivoactive track Kayaking / Paddling? I heard the Venu does, but I don't need all those bells and whistles if the Vivoactive is able to do the activity I need.

(I currently have a Lily 2 and it doesn't have all the activities I would like)

Putting Kayak on Roof Overnight

I have an early morning tomorrow (with a toddler) before heading off to my parents with my Kayak. Would it be fine to put my Kayak on my car tonight so I don't have to worry about the set up in the morning? Just didn't know if being in the position on the J rack for that long isn't recommended?

It's my first Kayak so I wanna be gentle as I can be so it lasts long 😊

Kayak Activity Tracker?

Is there an app to track your kayaking activity? At least miles paddled? I have Paddle Ways, but to my knowledge, that only shows spots to kayak. I have a Garmin, but I'm pretty sure the closest I could do is track it like a run or walk, then change the title after. But if there was an app that is more catered to kayaking, I would rather use that instead.

New baby is home 🥰

Spent a lot of time and research to find the right kayak (I'm picky on colors too). Was about to shell out about $500 and then the Facebook Marketplace Gods shown down on me! Absolute kismet!

Stickers on Kayaks?

So I'm the kind of person that likes to personalize my things and show my interests with things like t-shirts, stickers, enamel pins etc. But I haven't seen many kayaks with stickers and was wondering if it was not recommended? Could stickers mess with a kayaks ability to move in the water? Or is it strictly about the ability to resell?

If stickers are fine, are there certain kinds recommended to withstand the elements?

Buying on Amazon?

So I've had my eye on a Pelican Argo 100x EXO for quite a bit now. I've seen on a few sites that they show retailers near me that sell them, as well as the option to order online and get delivered. Then I saw that Amazon also sells them. I was curious to hear if anyone has ordered kayaks from Amazon and what the experience was?

Also, what is the census on getting one delivered, in general? I'm sure the best option is to try buying in person, but is getting one delivered as "scary" as I'm making it out to be? I'm concerned about damage during the delivery process.

My son is having his 5th birthday this summer and I'm wanting to do something with water balloons. I'm wanting to set up 2 sling shot stations so they can try to lob them at eachother. I saw these online and wondered if anyone would recommend these? Thought it would be easier clean up. But if they don't have the desired effect, I'd just go with OG balloons.
