Which one should I watch first? (It's not about the remake being the sequel or anything)
I know the remake is not a sequel and it is okay to watch it without watching anything else. But I've had ghost in the shell in watchlist for years now, but was never able to actually watch it, but I do plan to watch it.
Even if I watch this remake, I will surely go and watch the older one sooner or later. the question is sooner or later? I'm wondering if I should watch the older one first and then get on with the remake or watch the older version after I finish the remake.
Idk, the logical solution would be to watch the remake while it airs then go watch the older one later, but I just can't decide, honestly.

Will be rewatching Stand Alone Complex since 2023
As well the 1995 and Innocence film. It's been too long since I rewatched SAC, and the last time I fully finished S1 and S2 was back in June 2022 when I was introduced to GITS with the 1995 film. It's been too long, and with the new GITS universe, the timing is perfect.
I even made a Reddit post about my introduction to GITS and SAC in the GITS subreddit back in June 2022, but the post was made by a deleted old account.
Plus, I need to see how much of a badass SAC Motoko is and always will be.
