Applying from Out of State

I've applied to a few dozen jobs, have had one interview and did not get the job. I have government experience and a good resume. Am I at a disadvantage applying out of state, doing something wrong, is it too competitive? Any insight is appreciated!

Temporary onlay is glued to adjacent tooth

There is some excess glue between my teeth which is preventing me from flossing and making my two molars feel stuck together. My permanent onlay wont be applied for 3 weeks. Can I try and pick this excess glue off? I’m assuming no, but this is annoying seemingly unhygienic

Does anyone plan on viewing this? If so, what is your equipment.

I’m planning on using a 10 inch reflector with a 2.5 mm lens and a X2 barlow

Doctor recommends Inlays for teeth 4 and 5

Doctor mentioned they noticed a change in my fillings from last year (first xray is from 2025 and was done during some filling replacements, second photo is current). I'm looking to get a second opinion to see if this can wait or if it is necessary at all. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

Opinions on getting two onlays for the circled teeth

Doctor recommends getting onlays for these two teeth but said it was up to me and not pressing. Looking to get some opinions on it. Please and thank you!

Ludington Michigan to Manitowoc Wisconsin

Just finished a solo trip from Ludington MI to Manitowoc WI. Here are some things I wish I knew before the trip:

  1. When crossing from Platte River to Traverse City avoid Fowler Rd
  2. Outside Good Hart Michigan on the Tunnel of Trees Scenic Route the road caved in and you have to carry everything up a sand dune
  3. The UP is remote AF and you can only realistically resupply once per day. Lots of bears (had one come up to my hammock)
  4. Highway 2 is safe enough but loud and unpleasant. When hugging the southern coast there are not many options to avoid it. The St. Ignace to Trout Lake trail is not meant for bikes although it looks like an alternative.
  5. You actually do need to avoid the first few miles of Highway 2 because there is no shoulder.
  6. There is significant construction going on outside Rapid River which makes Highway 2 a nightmare for about 5-10 miles
  7. Highway M35 is actually fine and way better than Highway 2. There are two small stretches where there is no shoulder and you need to ride in gravel (near Cedar River)

Great route overall, If I did the UP again I'd go further north and go with someone for safety reasons

Glazed Brake Rotor?

Noticed a subtle burning rubber smell after a long drive and wondering if one of my rotors might be glazed. Any insight is appreciated. Subaru Forester 2018 limited 40,000 miles

Commuting from Portland to Salem via Amtrak?

This question has not been asked in this sub for a while and it looks like the morning train to Salem has been replaced with a bus. I'm wondering if anyone currently relies on Amtrak for this commute. I'm moving to Portland and would like to consider working for the state in Salem. Any insight is a appreciated, I have a car but will not consider the drive.

Noticed a slight creak when back pedaling and noticed this slight wiggle. Wondering if this is normal.
