I plan on faulting my 244, but I’d like to get the most fuel efficiency out of this motor. What are some things you guys have done that you’ve seen to make an improvement in MPG?
My master cylinder is leaking at the mating surface. Checked the mounting bolts and they’re pretty well torqued. Gave them an extra 1/6 turn, added fluid and still leaking. I was looking online for seals or gaskets but it doesn’t look like they exist for this mating surface. Is that correct? So the only way to fix this leak is to replace it?
Is anyone here running d window steelies or a similar wheel to these? If so, sauce?
P0442. “Small evaporation system leak.” I’d like to say it’s likely to be the fuel filler pipe that needs to be replaced because lately when I go get gas sometimes I have to poke the little valve a few times to get it to close all the way. I’ve also been reading that this part is a common failure point for the evap system. I already checked my purge solenoid for proper seal and it operates correctly so that’s fine.
Id like to know if anyone here has changed this fuel filler pipe themselves instead of taking it to a dealer, and if they have, what the procedures are to get this thing off and replaced. If there are any special tools needed. It looks pretty simple, but coming here for advice before taking things apart

Edit: tl;dr I’ve learned that I’m in currently can be categorized as 1 of 2 things: 1. Cheating, or 2. Unethical non-monogamy. I’m going to take this information and see a therapist for a while. I have a lot to process and thank you to this whole community for being supportive.
Final Edit: I ended the relationship today. We will continue to be best friends and roommates. We will continue to love and support each other, but we will not be having intimate relations together because I have no desire to be a friend with benefits. We can revisit this later once we have a better understanding of what is right, ethical and fair to both of us. I want to preserve and prioritize having my best friend in my life. And I don’t want to lose myself because I finally learned to love myself pretty recently. Thank you to everyone today who helped guide me to doing what truly feels like the right decision for me.
