Hello! It's my first post on this subreddit. I decided to share my theory/headcanon about Rubble from PAW Patrol. Without further ado, let's start.

Context

Rubble is English Bulldog puppy and constructor pup member of PAW Patrol. One of episodes of first season (precisely Pups Get a Rubble) shows how did he become PAW Patrol member. It shows he was originally a stray pup with no family. However, in 2023 there was created a spin-off series called Rubble and Crew. The titular team is composed of Rubble and his family. Many people were confused since they thought this show contradicts previously mentioned backstory. But there is one element many people ignore: members of The Crew aren't his immediate family (parents or siblings), but expanded one (granpda, aunt and couisns). When I analysed these information, I came up with the following theory.

The Theory

My theory is that Rubble's parents weren't the happiest couple. In fact, their relationship was somewhat toxic. They decided to have a pup (Rubble) in order to fix it, but it only made everything worse. It eventually made them divorce when Rubble was still young. Because of it, he lived only with his mother. Some time later he became a stray (perhabs his mum dies or he ran from her) and the story of Pups Get a Rubble appeared.

What do you think about it?

It is kinda weird for me. Like, they have the same title, but different publishers. Are they the same game? If not, what are the differences?

Do you think it would be intereting? How it would look like? How would be cures called? Who would be antagonists? What would be their gimmicks?

Here are my ideas:

1. Gimmicks would look like cardriges and transformation items-like controllers.
2. Attack names would appear during their sequences (like during Z-Moves in Pokemon Sun and Moon)
3. Antagonists would be glitch-themed or something like Deathgaliens from Zyuohger
4. Fights with monsters of the week would have different rules and would look like different games. For example, during one of them Cures would have to race the monster.

What do you think about it?

Most Fantasy worlds have different monsters with magical abilities. They often have strange biology as well. Does your magic system include these beings? If yes, how do their powers work?

Since Pokemon in my fanfiction will be sapient (at least some of them), they will create different cultures. Unfortunately, I am not sure how is it supposed to work like. If you have done something like this, describe it so I could get some inspiration.

Witajcie! Już jakieś 3 lata temu opublikowałem posta, w którym zapytałem was o najgorsze rzeczy uczone na religii. Bardzo dużo osób go polubiło, więc postanowiłem do niego wrócić. W końcu na katechezach uczy się wielu kontrowersyjnych rzeczy (co zresztą stało się moim powodem do niechodzenia na te lekcje od pierwszej klasy liceum). Oto kilka tematów, na które ja się natknąłem i które ugotowały mi krew:

1. Najbardziej oczywiste-pokazywanie seksualności jako źródła zła, do którego zalicza się takie rzeczy jak potępianie innych niż hetero orientacji seksualnych (swoją drogą jeden z katechetów powiedział, że homoseksualizm MOŻE być chorobą), uczenie, że seks to zaprzeczenie miłości (to akurat nie bezpośrednio z podręcznika, ale z artykułu z jakiego on zaczerpnął fragment) czy też po prostu pokazywanie, że istnieje tylko jeden słuszny sposób na życie erotyczne. Dla mnie takie coś jest w chuj szkodliwe, ponieważ prowadzi to pogardy do własnego ciała i alienacji (w przypadku osób LGBT). Poza tym niestandardowe życie seksualne wcale nie musi być czymś złym, o ile nie ma charakteru przemocy.
2. Filozofia cierpienia, na którą składają się między innymi potępianie eutanazji (nawet w przypadku ciężko chorych osób), uczenie, że ból uszlachetnia, czy też twierdzenie, że takie losy są "w planie Boga". Jest to problematyczne w wielu aspektach. Otóż pokazywanie cierpienia, jako czegoś, co uszlachetnia jest-przynajmniej moim zdaniem-pokazywaniem braku empatii względem osób, które takie coś spotkało. Podobnie jest z eutanazją, która moim zdaniem potrafi być jedynym sposobem na okazanie osobie, która nie może wrócić do normalnego życia miłosierdzia. Z kolei twierdzenie, że takie coś jest "planem Boga" powinno od razu odpalić nam czerwoną lampkę, bo po co istota, która niby jest miłosierna miałaby chcieć, by ludzie cierpieli?
3. Czasami na lekcjach religii po prostu gada się głupoty, które jednak nadal są dość szkodliwe. Przykładowo, podręcznik od religii raz twierdził, że Wielka Rewolucja Francuska doprowadziła do wprowadzenia tyrańskich rządów, ponieważ jej przywódcy byli ateistami. Oczywiście, nie twierdzę, że ateizm nic nie miał tu do gadania, jednak twierdzenie, że tylko on doprowadził do tego chaosu jest po prostu bzdurą. Poza tym w kontekście słów katechety ten temat zwyczajnie brzmiał jak próba przekonania nas, że nie możesz być dobrą osobą, jeśli nie jesteś chrześcijaninem. Może to skutkować poczuciem wyższości względem niechrześcijan oraz różnymi formami wykluczenia. Oprócz tego ksiądz ras próbował nas przekonać, że Imperium Rzymskie upadło z powodu rozwiązłości moralnej (a każdy historyk raczej jest w stanie uznać takie twierdzenie za gadanie głupot).

A jak sprawa ma się z wami? Czy wy mieliście podobne doświadczenia na katechezach?

Yes, I know we already have Go! Princess Pretty Cure which has dreams as its' theme. But I mean series with dreams we have as we sleep. This series would be kinda simmilar to Kamen Rider Zeztz-Cures would have to infiltrate dreams of other people and fight monsters born from their fears. The main fairy would be Baku-based. What do you think about it?

Even though Urban Fantasy worlds aren't uncommon, most of them are very simmilar. It's mostly caused by fact they are trying to be like World of Darkness, which means most important species are Vampires, Werewolves, Mages or Fae. But there is other type of Urban Fantasy world that isn't very popular (or just I think so). These are worlds like Percy Jackson or Scion RPG-settings that are directly inspired by ancient myths. They include greater focus on creatures unique for each culture and big role of gods. Is anyone here creating something like it?
