I'm very annoyed about the shortened event period in favor of advertisers. I had a suspicion they were going to continue trying to get advertisers when I first saw the ATLA event pop up, (and that was my first time ever seeing such an event since I'm 6 months new to the game) and I'm always willing to give devs and "smaller" studios benefit of the doubt, however this is suspicious and borderline inexcusable to not only shorten the time, but shorten it by over ~9 or 10 days in favor of an event through advertisers. (i've seen the lego overlay for the last few days i believe. I don't remember exactly when I first saw it but I thought it was a bug and disregarded it. Turns out not. This was 1-3 days ago.

I'd be willing to bet that they reached out to LEGO to request to advertise for them (or LEGO reached out to them but it's more likely to be the other way around). They probably did this during or around the time that the ATLA event was ending, after they realize how much money they can really get for advertising big companies. I'll continue to theorize that LEGO only just now responded when the summer event had already started.

Here's the kicker about why it mattered that the summer event had already started. I'll bet when they received the email/contract back from LEGO it said "you are only allowed to use our name and products in your game from August 20, 2026 -> August whatever, 2026!" and Sonar said ".... crap"

Sonar, likely not knowing any better because somehow they always manage to make the worst PR decisions, I'd really like to chalk all this up to ignorance. I'd really really like to.... Anyway, they decided, in all their wisdom, to sign the contract and proceed to shorten the event in order to make room for the LEGO event!

They can shoot us all the BS of "oh it was originally meant to be this short!" but I'm like... 90% sure most events like this lasted at least 30 days so they can miss me with that lie. This is very scummy behavior and Sonar wants to believe they can get away with it.

Anyway all this rant is to say that if any NON-PVP'ers would like to use a private server in order to grind the last few days out without constantly having to look over your shoulder, please let me know in a DM or comment here asking me to DM you.

I will try to kick / ban any PVP'ers whenever I'm online and able.

I've taken care of this lady (Tiffany) for her entire lovely 14 years of her life, and I intend to see her off to the end when that day comes as well. Not only have I taken care of her, she's taken care of me for 14 years ever since i was 14.

She has been so kind and patient with me. Not to mention smart. She knows not to give up when hounding me for food because I'll forget otherwise. She understands that I have my grumpy moments too and that she just needs to let me calm down. She always comes back for more love and is so happy when I get home from trips. She's such a wonderful girl and I love her so much. I cant help but thank the universe for this Best Friend.

I didnt get a wink of sleep last night and 4 poor hours of sleep on a plane. I was looking forward to sleeping after eating with my wife after the long trip, albeit a little early in the night but the fuckass hotel decided to turn their pop up movie projector on above the fucking pool and i was literally not allowed to sleep until the movie was over. You dom't understand how loud this shit was. Headache inducing holy fuck i had to take ibuprofen

I get it they need a reason for elsa (edit: glinda, sorry, holy fuck im so tired) to be mad at elfeba and for scarecrow to be made but they literally couldnt have done it any worse. The songs p alright i guess. Blech.

A wart has been bothering us for the past year.

There it stayed on the back of our hand untreated as we are terrible at taking care of ourselves and didnt have money for wart cream when we thought about it and forgot to buy it when we did have money. Rinse and repeat

Then this week came around and it became unbearably itchy and it felt like the body was literally trying to push it out.

The bigs were great at ignoring the itchy, rejection feeling from our wrist but the littles couldnt take it anymore

Anyway i should give my immune system a treat or something idk what. It did a great job at removing the wart once it noticed it.
