I see the issue of racial parity is finally breaking through.

Finally the bias against Storm and black female characters is revealed. The double standard finally seen by the community.

I touched on this a long time ago and most people tried to gaslight me. a few others saw the truth.

https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelrivals/comments/1qffwqf/marvel_rivals_has_a_lack_of_racial_representation/

It's more than a swim suit. It's the lack of attention and consideration. AND IT'S OBVIOUS.

They use too many obscure characters for them to have any qualm against any of the characters I listed in the other thread.

STRATEGIST:

Blink

Astrid BLoom

Tempo

Silhouette

Shade

VANGUARD:

Frenzy

Monet

Bling

Ceclia Reyes

DUELIST:

Gobyln

Claudette/Nicole/Penance

Temper

Misty Knight

Monica Cap marvel Rambeau

Madame Slay

Maybe now they will take the time to see the glaring omission in their lineup of characters.

Free ARC of HEX of ALL HATS Urban Fantasy with a Sapphic Twist

Janessa Miro has one rule: keep the wards intact and the drinks flowing.

As The Spot’s resident wardwright and bartender, she keeps Chicago’s most notorious cross-dimensional speakeasy stitched together with duct tape, sarcasm, and sigilcraft. But when a ley line flickers and a Whisperbind blooms through the anchor wards, it isn’t sabotage—it’s personal. Someone has forged her magical style, infected the bar’s foundation, and tied the corruption to her blood.

Now the Magus Arcanum is circling. The Faerie Courts are listening. And former mentor turned heretic Marlowe Finch is orchestrating something beneath the city in a cathedral called the Hollow Chord.

As ancient runes begin surfacing across Chicago, Janessa discovers the attack against The Spot is only the first fracture in something far older than the Arcanum wants to admit. The magic inside her isn’t behaving like a curse.
It’s remembering.

With fellow wardwright Callum Shaw, Grimalkin thief Lysandra Vex, and dimension-folding barkeep Eddie Ramirez at her side, Janessa races to stop the Seal beneath The Spot from unraveling before Chicago becomes the center of a supernatural collapse.

Because every lock has a cost. Every curse leaves a mark.

And some curses don’t bind you—they build you.

ARC reader etiquette

Okay my sequel just came out and I am wondering is it okay to message the people who left a review on goodreads for the first one and offer them a ARC well it's not really an advanced copy anymore since the book is out, but a paperback copy? In hopes they like it and feel like leaving another review?

Everything I've read seems to be never to contact people who leave reviews, but I am not offering praise or criticism for their reviews I just want to offer them a copy of the sequel.

Is that okay? Or should I not?

Also the way goodreads works I think I have to leave a comment to their comment so everyone can see that I am offering a copy. Is it bad not offer that to every review? Should I do it randomly?

Appreciate any thoughts! Thank you!

Mission Complete! Book written, dream achieved!

So, it’s been years and years in the making. Iv’e always written for as long as I can remember. At first, only silly little jokes, and then poems, short stories, and a bad attempt a song writing. I began the idea of Grave Matters in college and I took several creative writing classes, but in the end, it just never amounted to a full novel.

I tucked the short stories away for a long while and just lived life without writing but lots of reading. Horror. Sci-fi. And of course, my one true love, Fantasy! The days and nights I spent with Laurell K Hamilton, Mercedes Lackey, Tanya Huff, Rachel Caine, L.A. Banks, Jim Butcher, GRRRM, and so and so on kept my imagination spinning and my interest alive.

A few years I decided to dust off those stories and take another crack. It was touch and go for so many months that I never thought I’d get past fifty pages without running into a dead-end. A writing book of all things led me to the light. Nothing crazy, or weird, or out of touch spacey new age teachings. Just how to outline of all things and plan!

Who knew!

When I finished the first draft such a weight was lifted that it was like a reignition of all my drive to keep going. Sure, there were rewrites to do and edits to be made, but the fact that I’d finished meant everything!

My first book, Grave Matters, was released on my birthday back on January 23. Now the sequel, Grave Intentions, is coming out this Saturday on May 23! The secret? I wrote a book so long I decided to split it in two, lol.

You can find both on Amazon!

Thank you for reading! I’ve had a few sales, but really the marketing thing is tough to wrap my mind around, but I’m hopefully getting better at it.

Keep on writing!
