fuck the mining minigame in Raiders

what do you mean the game can just decide to not give me any shards for 10 seconds. I have, on multiple occasions, gotten the power egg only to not run into any shards or rocks for the entire duration of the power up. Why am I even bothering at that point

I managed a high score of 5817 so far, so I know I can get the A rank, it just seems way too reliant on RNG

So has anyone made good use of the black hole racket so far?

Cuz as much as I'm happy for new content, the new fever racket hasn't really stood out much to me so far.

I don't think it's weak per se. I just don't really see what niche it fills that isn't already covered by the plethora of fever rackets that force your opponent to avoid a specific area on the court.

Which I do think other rackets excel more at.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour requires surgeon level precision, and I don't I have the physical capability to 100% complete it.

Fair debates about the price withholding, I bought the game and I do believe there is some fun minigames in here.

However the level of precision and speed required for some of these third medals, or even the first two, are borderline ridiculous.

I have faced many a challenging gaming moment, but there has always been a sense of: "if I just keep practicing I'll get it." Well not with this one.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I feel like the mouse controls work horrible compared to how any PC mouse controls. It feels like they're actively working against me, I feel a delay and unresponsiveness that should not be there.

And then to make matters worse they ask you to use these mouse controls with incredible speed and precision. I cannot. I simply cannot get the mouse to go where I want it fast enough.

I have heard people complain about the rumble minigame, but for me the tipping point that led to this post is the one where you fill in the shapes while they are floating.

There is not an ounce of grace in this, no snapping, no nothing. You need pin point accuracy and you better do it while under time pressure.

My hands simply get too shakey under these conditions and I have high doubts I'm physically capable of even getting the first medal.

Is there a way to make the mouse controls not suck?

Im gonna smash my copy of Jamboree with a hammer

I have been trying to rank up to S rank on pro rules for the past few days now, and I’ve gotten really close. But twice in a row now I’ve had a fucking game where I’m in the lead till like the last 2 turns. And then some fucker just happens to land on my space, duels me for a star, and I lose. Putting me all the way in 4th place and essentially erasing a good hour and a half worth of effort.

Which psycho thought it was a good idea to put a ranking system in a game as unfair and unbalanced as mario party. I just wanna get this last fucking sticker and move on to a better game, but it looks like I’m gonna be stuck with this for 30 more hours at this rate.

Fuck this game, fuck those cheating ass bots, and fuck my life.

Sorry for the vent, I’m gonna find something to strangle now.

I NEED A GAME I CAN PLAY FOR 5000 HOURS, THAT TAKES OVER MY LIFE AND I NEVER HAVE TO THINK ABOUT ANY OTHER GAME EVER AGAIN

That's what half of the posts on this sub amount to. And it mostly leads to the same couple of suggestions like Rimworld and factorio.

  1. Use the search function to find the 1000's of earlier posts if you're looking for games like this

  2. (And this might be my personal bias) but looking for games like this is often futile. You can't force yourself to like a game for a 1000 hours, it either happens or it doesn't. Anything done for that long will burn you out eventually

  3. I think this is a harmful way to look at the hobby of gaming, you should not 'want to get addicted/obsessed with anything' to the degree where it keeps you occupied for a 1000 hours

Yes this post is petty and I understand if it gets removed for being off-topic, I'm just annoyed by my feed getting flooded daily by posts like this (not just from this subreddit)
