I’m so upset! Spent money on a hotel stay, used up my PTO, possibly wasted an entire park ticket? Policy says unused tickets are not eligible for the rainy day guarantee… I have a Halloween ticket and definitely won’t be able to make it back this month 🥲 and I doubt they refund parking passes

Makes me never wanna do amusement parks again since you never know what’s gonna happen!! So unpredictable. Probably wasted $500 coming up here for today between tickets, hotel, food, gas. Sucks!! Planned everything over a month ago before we knew the weather

Edit - customer service gave me a return ticket for next Halloween season. Here’s hoping it doesn’t rain again next year!! Gonna head to chocolate world for a while and then maybe see a movie 🤷🏼‍♀️ hope everyone finds something fun to do today instead of the park 🥲

Coming this weekend and want to know which ones to ride Saturday before the rain Sunday!!

Thank you!!

Anybody here keep up with the sales? I need new sneakers for work but have been waiting for a sale. Trying to figure out if I should just buy now at full price or if I should hold out for a sale!! Just looking to grab some basic old skools and authentics. Quality isn’t what it used to be so definitely not wanting to pay $75 for basic sneakers!

So we all know it’s a struggle to find jeans that fit us well!! Whenever I do find a pair - they fit great at first but after wearing them all day they’ve stretched out sooo much and are barely staying up and look terrible on me when I was feeling so good and confident in them earlier in the day!🥲 does anyone have recommendations for jeans that aren’t stretchy? I want a snug pair that’ll stay tight all day! I typically always buy my jeans from Hollister since they always fit me well but have the stretch issue with literally every single pair

We are struggling!!! No lie- we have like 3 fall hand soaps in stock. Even the color run soaps, we have maybe 5 scents in stock currently so it’s not even like we can try to sell those instead. Candles are rapidlyy dwindling, many have completely sold out. We have some “big days” sales coming up and it’s gonna be a shit show. Every single thing we’re getting in shipment is holiday items for fall 3 drop. Customers are mad and leaving empty handed. District manager is wondering why we’re not making sales plans and when told we’re out of everything his response is that we should be able to sell well enough to get people to buy what we do have in stock 🫠

I’m off today after leading the floor set last night! I heard we only had one customer at the door when we opened this morning. I placed a BOPIS order around 9:30am and it was filled in under an hour- just for some body care and candles, no accessories. There must not have been too many orders! Plus we were behind on BOPIS from this weekends soap sale. Also only had 2 SLT in this morning so I imagine we were not busy by any means. Curious to hear how it went everywhere else!

Also what’s everyone’s store doing about the nbc body wash gratis? We only got 48 total body washes. We have around 25-30 employees…. I imagine a lot of us will miss out on this one? How is that fair? Has there been any communication about this today?

Boyfriend and I would go together every year for Halloween season but we’ve broken up. I look forward to this trip all year - I still want to go but am unsure what to do with myself all day. I want to ride all the coasters but standing in line for hours by myself all day seems so awful. I don’t have any other friends or family who would be interested in this trip/riding roller coasters with me 🥲 I guess I’m just asking if anyone else has done solo trips and how it went for you! I typically have no issues doing anything alone but this just doesn’t feel like something to do alone so I’m struggling! What else can I do between rides? Normally we’d do dinner at the chocolatier but if I’m alone I’ll just grab something quick to eat. Normally we’d drink all the fun Halloween cocktails and uber back to our hotel but I don’t want to be drinking if I’m by myself. 🥲🥲 any recommendations are appreciated

Wanna be outside but it’s wayyy too hot today!
