I think I’m feeling some negative affects from Petal mental health wise
This is difficult because I actually really liked the album musically. My favorite is Freak because I fell in love with the instrumental and the vocal snippet and then the whole song just tied it all together. I also love Oh Well production wise, Kiss Me, and Stay. I was listening to the album on repeat the day it was released but as I listened I had this underlying anxiety that has lingered. I suffer from anxiety attacks anyway, but after listening to Petal despite loving it musically, I felt my anxiety amp up and it’s been worse than I remember it ever being. I do admit the lyrics to the songs are very dark and there is just an overall dark vibe to it. The photos are unsettling and she clearly wrote it from a very low vibration place. And it is by no means her best album. It’s probably her worst if I’m honest but it’s not bad. Despite my love of the music though, I think I do need to step away from her music for a bit because I fear it is having a subconscious negative affect on me. Don’t know if anyone else feels this way but I feel like I’m probably not alone.

Heard and saw an ambulance go by while listening to Open Hearts
Felt like I was in the music video for a minute. If I’d been driving down a windy road would have been even better.
Tonsil stone disappeared
I had a tonsil stone that was deep in a crypt but still visible for a few weeks. Something did come up during a yawn a few days ago but I caught a cold/allergies this past week and I wanted to look down my throat and saw I had a pretty prominent stone sticking out at the bottom of my tonsil where the one I’d noticed weeks ago was. In the past, to dislodge them, what works for me sometimes is flexing my throat to make them pop out so I was doing that a couple times and then suddenly it just disappeared. I tried to see if it moved lower by checking behind my tongue but it was gone. I didn’t feel it go down my throat but either I did because it was right at the back of my throat/bottom of my tonsil and probably wouldn’t have easily moved forward into my mouth or I don’t know if it could have gotten sucked into the tonsil crypt so it’s now invisible. It’s just it looked pretty big so I don’t know. I seem to have others that are hidden in other pockets.
The Weeknd really does sound like MJ
My sister was playing I Feel it Coming and my mom was surprised to know that it was sung by The Weeknd because she swore it was MJ. This affirms my logic to describe him to older generations who haven’t heard of him as a modern day MJ. I know he has his own style and sound but he truly is the closest thing we have to MJ today.
Not sure if this is the best sub to post this in but I just am kinda bothered by this. My aunt passed away in June of last year from stage 4 colon cancer. My mom sent me this photo a couple weeks ago that my cousin sent from her ring camera and asked me if I saw anything in the photo. I said no. She said “we all see a face that looks like your aunt.” When she said that, I had to try a bit, but I do see a face now but not the face of my aunt. Everyone was still talking about how crazy the photo was yesterday at a family event, and it just really made me feel left out and wondering why I’m the only one who can’t see it. Like was it not meant for me to see? I have been thinking a lot about what happens when you die and I recently went down a rabbit hole of quantum immortality that says that when you die you switch to a timeline where you didn’t die but it’s usually people who got into a car accident that should have been fatal, not a terminal illness like cancer.
I do want to believe my aunt is still with us in spirit. There have been signs. A couple hours after she passed, there was a cardinal in the tree when we all went outside. My mom and my cousin find pennies and feathers and about three months after my aunt passed, we had a family reunion with my mom’s cousins and it was at this outdoor Pavillion, and the morning of the reunion, my mom’s cousin was there and she saw a cardinal fly straight inside the pavillion. It’s been about 11 months now, and I think about her every day and naturally her passing has had me thinking a lot about death. I do ultimately want to believe that we see our deceased loved ones again one day. I’m just wondering if my ability to perceive signs has been skewed since I’ve been dabbling into the theory of quantum immortality.
