Should I look into modeling?

I am in desperate need of money and my current job isn’t cutting it. Should I look into modeling or acting? I have done several years of theatre and a few acting classes so I do have experience in that aspect. I have an associates degree in general studies so that’s not a whole lot of help. I really love doing art but unfortunately I can’t seem to get commissions so I need to look for something else so I don’t become homeless.

What should I name this piece? Sarah McKee, 2026

Price: $150 – $250+ (Varies depending on complexity and subject matter.)

The price will vary depending on the level of detail. If you want intricate architecture, detailed landscapes, or complex interior design, instead of a simple background there will be $50 – $100 complexity fee. I require 50% upfront before I start sketching. I also include 2 standard revision stages (one at the rough sketch phase and another at the base color phase). I will charge an extra 10% for major changes requested during the final check off before the piece is signed. If you would like a timelapse of your piece being made that will cost an extra 15%

Help I need some honest critiques

Hi guys I need some honest, critical feedback on my Etsy shop. I’m trying to turn this into a consistent income stream, so I really want to hear what’s not working. I need to have a job that allows me to work from home since I struggle a ton with my mental health. I unfortunately need money to survive so I need to figure something out

Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SarahSmudges

What I sell:

- art prints, photography prints, and prints on phone cases

What I’d love feedback on:

- First impression: would you buy from this shop?

- Pricing: too high, too low, or confusing?

- Listings: anything unclear or missing?

- Product mix: what feels strong vs weak?

- Branding: does it feel cohesive or all over the place?

- Trust factor: does it feel legit/professional?

Context (if it helps):

- I am an artist and photographer in the USA but my printer is in Norway. (Gelato is the name)

If something feels off, confusing, or like you wouldn’t buy, I want to know why.
