I’m finishing up and have been applying to jobs since summer but have nothing to show for it. How is everyone doing? What works for you? Reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn? Asking friends for a referral? Applying coldly to 1000s of jobs with personalized resume/application?
Also is there a space where people can apply to job together so it’s not as demoralizing? I could really use that.

So I really need to start full‑time work ASAP, and yes I know the job market is cooked right now, but I’m trying to stay delusionally optimistic that I’ll land something by early 2027. If that happens, I’d love to graduate by the end of 2026.
The problem is I have 6 courses left, all upper‑year major courses.
Option 1: Take all 6 and try to finish by December 2026
Pros: Early graduation, Can start working right away if I get a job
Cons: High chance of frying my GPA, Even worse, failing something and needing another semester with an Fon my transcript, Graduating early but still jobless and not in
school anymore 💀
Option 2: Be a normal human and take 4 courses while job hunting
Pros: Manageable workload, Less stress, better time management
Cons: Delayed graduation, Might not get a job offer without the degree done

I received an interview request and the person told me that first 2-3 weeks would be in office for training and then the model would shift to hybrid/remote based on the training progress.
Is the RTO/ in-office model requirement normal? I thought the point of Riipen was to make work accessible and all positions were fully remote. Guess I was mistaken. :/

A friend sent it to me and I actually had another friend who recently left Galixo so I inquired if this is true. She validated it and explained how things are even worse than this and a few powerful men have their own circle where they harass women and upon being reported, protect each other instead of holding the harasser accountable.
Another friend recently quit her job due to these very reasons and it was not just her, all the women working in the office were uncomfortable af - apparently men used to make disgusting “jokes” or remarks where they would refer to “banana” in a a certain context around women. Other direct harassment also happened and the girl who reported everything was fired while the other women were pressured into remaining silent.
As someone who has worked in corporate myself (never in Pakistan) I’m shocked and disgusted to the core. How’s this happening in 2026?! Women already face so much criticism and hate for being independent and choosing to work and the have to go through so many obstacles and hurdles in our society. And then we have these bs organizations that make their life living hell! I really hope someone influential takes a stance on this and expose these freaking losers. Khair Pakistan hai expose krne se bhi kch ni ayega, na in logon ko sharam haya ani na saza milni. Aurton ki zindagi hi mazeed Khrab honi.
