Those who have done pill and shot - any difference ?

not at same time but just curious experience like what the milligram to milligram equivalency is

i know people only lowest shot and lost weight and didn’t move up and stayed on it. and wasn’t sure if pill that can works that way too since absorption is variable

is shot supposed to be stronger or the pill?

What lowest dose is lowest to start on with side effects in mind? (tirz)

I’ve had a rough time on the wegovy pill. I decided it bc just lifestyle made it make sense to have bad sides for a day but not for a week on a shot. but I am getting awful awful insomnia and I am gonna to try tirz. Only been on wegovy pill a week so body new to GLP

my friend said .15mg is good starting dose and then moving up from there. does that sound right? I know it’s super low but trying to keep in mind cant afford any more lack of sleep or anything with taking care of a toddler

Awful 8/10 headaches starting , does this improve? Or Hydrate way more than normal?

Tried electrolytes , hydrating, eating right, no caffeine. maybe semaglutide or the pill isn’t for me

def felt sinus too which I have no virus or infection, like felt dried out but I was hydrating normally

Brutal headaches tension like - day stopping - when do they end or do they?

only on day 2 of 1.5mg and man brutal I had to skip a day to make sure wasn’t sick or wasn’t another cause

Feels like sinus migraine and tension all combined and I never get any of those, like throbbing head or eye pain and like 8-9/10

also been eating, electrolytes and hydrating. not sure if I need to switch to foundayo or tirzepatide bc of this

sucks because man I love the anti inflammation and food noise quieting it feels Great.

How long did the headaches last for you guys? (If you had them)

i definitely seem to get moderate headaches on this pill. does anything touch them or help for you guys like Ibuprofen or Tylenol?

I remember I quit metformin bc awful headaches that didn’t stop but also I just felt depressed on it. I feel fine on this starting dose but headache sucks

How were your side effects when starting? Fearful of side effects paralysis

I’ve literally read more GLP info than I should over past few years I could work for Brello Hims LSH, lol.

so I think the analysis paralysis really got to me and I’m trying to hear from real people rather than just read horror stories or statistics or papers.

also having a toddler plays with it too, i get fearful of being out of commission when I need to be alert and such.

do most people feel sick a lot , bad , or stressed on it? or do most people end up not having much symptoms ?

now at 105k I’m feeling a shudder again and it just went out of warranty 2 mo the ago for the 24 month torque. its not as bad I remember the rumble strips alot worse but maybe it just hasn’t escalated yet. is needing second converter a thing ?

Curious of people’s experience with sleep/insomia micro dosing

Got a toddler at home and im definitely a wreck taking care of when sleep is less. I did micro dose tirz a year ago only one time and had some sleeps issues but hindsight I was probably on a lot of fiber and stomach issues kept me up.

did you guys have sleep issues or insomnia in tirz micro? or did it improve if so

disc displacement without reduction. Neck pain, also 3 years post double jaw surgery

Decades of chronic pain and mouth breathing. I thought was going to be fixed with DJS, after I got my apnea diagnosis and found out I was recessed and how bad that was, and that its normal to breath out of your nose, who knew!

So I got DJS, apnea improved but not cured, still use CPAP. Got septoplasty/sinus surgery 9 months later after DJS. Brutal recovery nose wise that hurt more than DJS but not as long as DJS was healing wise.

I definitely feel I am actually smarter if that makes sense than before. I do sleep deeper, I also have a better healthier routine so it’s confusing which helps or which was the bigger lever.

So I did see Wolford in Dallas a few years ago and he said ba dum I needed TJR. I was seeing him thinking I needed more advancement to cure apnea fully. But he said my MRI had disc displacement without reduction, that I do not have ICR and didnt need it immediately but basically that DJS could have hurt me because his paper said so.

I’m not anti Wolford, I am a little anti TJR as that is very scary to have artificial jaw joints. and anti having to do another major surgery like that.

So my question for those of you that have had chronic neck (Specifically scalene/SCM/upper trap pain). Is this joint issue the root of that or something else mechanically like functionally posture forward head and what not, or years of that before I had DJS?

I’ve done every modality and things possible it seems like and while I have had improvement from DJS for sure, my pain moved from like facial pain to simply just like tighter neck and scalene traps area. And i’m trying to figure out if its pointless to do aggressive trigger point or postural work of If its just bandaid over bullet wound and joint is causing all this, although I don’t rly have joint pain
