UPDATE: The hedgehog buffet is having a lot of succes

However our Shiba doesn’t really seem sure about any of this. Also included a little ASMR clip since these fellas are surprisingly calm around people. (⚠️I will never touch them nor let my dog touch them or eat and drink from the same bowls, it’s cat food anyways). They’re so cute 🥰

Normal for them to be this calm?

So we have been leaving a bit of cat food outside (it started originally for our cat) and ever since then every night like at least 3 hedgehogs come to sample the buffet. I went outside to take a closer look and after some time he just kept eating. Is it normal for them to get this comfortable? (I WILL NEVER TOUCH OR TRY TO BE IN A DISTANCE THEY CAN TOUCH ME don’t worry 😅) But I do enjoy the adorable company.

Birthday boy 🧁 🎉 🎈

I promise he enjoyed it more than it looks like. His best friend Jack the Shiba came over and he also went to the dog park to get all his zoomies out. They love the cake too. 🥳

If you follow people off the bus, get a life.

That’s it that’s all. Genuinely worst kind of people you will meet. All for a sprite bro.

Stop waiting for loot

If you’re the type of person to wait at the doors in sinister strip while someone else is opening them (the building with the cables). Genuinely you’re the worst type of person to play with. I will leave a match over this, it’s super petty I know but I cannot deal with greedy teammates. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has experienced this.

Edit: this goes for teammates who take the loot from the boss you killes yourself too.

3,5 months update: the good the bad and the ugly

So basically I just want to share my experience with people who are also thinking about a gastric sleeve. If you have any questions not mentioned let me know! Ill start with the good things.

Good things about a sleeve I’ve experienced:

- I went from 160kg/352lbs to 134kg/295lbs in about 3,5 months now.
- obviously because of that I feel fitter. I am more energetic and motivated to take matter into my own hands.
- I started fitness with a personal trainer, I do really recommend getting one because they will show you exercises to keep your strength.
- I fit into smaller clothing and clothing that didn’t fit anymore
- I am objectively healthier than before, the risks of heart disease, diabetes and all those things has already drastically decreased.
- I was off painkillers in 3 days

The bad things:
- the pre op diet was hell.
- the operation and few days after is horrible. You will be in pain and it’s not a walk in the park. It’s doable but you will be miserable.
- my multivitamins still make me sick to this day.
- my brain thinks I’m still as fat as I used to be. I only realized HOW fat I was after this operation.
- no fizzy drinks has been horrible in the heatwaves we’ve had :(
- you will waste so much food. I have thrown away so much just because I didn’t eat it before it went out of date. I just couldn’t fit more.
- going out to eat is not possible unless you have someone with you that finishes your meal or you can take it home. You will take 2 bites and be full!
- some foods are harder to handle on the stomach. It might be very much possible you can never eat something you love again.
- everything goes right through my body. I will eat and have to shit 10-20mins later, your digestion just goes faster I think?
- stalling makes you really unhappy, there’s always a fear you’ve stopped loosing weight.
- I am starting to shed more hair than my own dog!!!! Good thing I have a lot.
- I was low on certain vitamins.
- for me drinking water by itself is hard because it’ll give me a stomach ache, I always need to add something.
- I’ve had moments of horrible reflux.

Of course the positive totally outweigh the negatives. It’s been a good experience so far and I’m so glad I did it. I just wanted to share my experience so far. If you have any questions feel totally free!!

Celebration! Under 300lbs

Finally under 300 pounds, started at 352. Now between 297-299. Since I’m European the real celebration will be when I’m under 100kg (220lbs). I got sleeved 31/3. I feel like I’m loosing the weight slow but I guess slow and steady wins the race? Ask me any questions you might have about gastric sleeve surgery I’ll be happy to share my experience.

Give me a stern reminder why I need to stay on track.

I got sleeved March 31st. It’s been going okay since but due to some personal circumstances I feel like falling back into old habits (not being strict enough with myself on a lot of things like enough protein, fatty/sugary food or eating too much isn’t an issue) . Remind me why I need to take my multivitamins everyday, why I need to drink enough and eat enough protein. I’m sure some of you have found out the negative consequences of not doing it. I have been feeling lightheaded and weak this past week and I’m sure it got something to do with me not eating enough.

I get it’s okay to deal with emotional stuff in my own way but this is not something I wanna slack off on! I have noticed a lot more spending money instead of eating as an emotional comfort now but that another issue. 😅

Protein snack tips are greatly appreciated. Also I have audhd which makes everything a bit more difficult but I don’t want it to be an excuse.
