After having my ESO account for over 9 years, i got banned, for talking about elder scrolls lore.

Apparently the filter automatically detected the word "racist." when explaining how the nords, dark elves, and Thalmor were all part of forms of race based cleansing, including Genocide campaigns by the Thalmor. This was all in zone chat explaining it to someone who wanted to learn more about the lore of the game. Has anyone else encountered anything this insane? Its only a 3 day ban, but its still so crazy to me that the censorship is at this level. The email i got said this counts as threatening other players and or zenimax employees.

How i've seen the conflict between players paint a picture over game difficulty.

Examples of the lack of common sense include: Making heavy enemies more invincible to getting killed the hard way (IE: destroying bile titan sacs with light/med pen, charger butts, roach wings, turret vents, tank vents, vox vents, strider having weakpoints at all, etc.)
while doubling down on things like the same enemies getting one shot by support weapons.

The game they describe feels like less reward; more meta build locking and resulting to a bigger list of obsolete equipment that is unusable and a "skill issue." and have an attitude of: "if you pick it, dont bring it into "my game." go play with it on a trivial difficulty that is akin to a shooting range because its not viable."

Trees destroying my buildings.

Foliage keeps respawning into my buildings and its destroying them. Im running the game vanilla, is there a way to fix this? And yes, i have foliage respawn off.

Am i alone on this?

I really like Icarus, but i enjoy the tech management and crafting side of the game, including building structures and engineering new floorplans for making good bases. I also enjoy creating solid infrastructure and industrializing.

Ive been watching the updates they've been rolling out over the past half year and its just nonstop animal additions, like they want the game to go the route of a farm simulator.

I know theres people who are into that kind of content, but babysitting animals bores me to tears. I'd rather go mining. Anyone else feel like the game could use a lot more mechanics or new building features or types? In the least we could use some QOL or fixes for building structure integrity, i constantly run into problems where my structures are reaching stress points at certain heights, even with pillars and walls, and they dont stop until i create entire solid 3d grids underneath them.

Today i finally realized the supply/pack icon is a cardboard box with tape.

I was tracking a shipping order i had and it had nearly the exact same icon. And then it dawned on me after a year and a half of playing the game, the icon is 3 cardboard boxes with tape on the side.

Im usually a Lurker but i had an opportunity to post today.

I got an appointment at work to come do a free estimate for a house by itself not near a neighborhood, went towards the back yard and i froze for a sec when i saw this statue through the bars.

After i came back to the front of the house, i told the old lady "heh, wasnt expecting that statue back there, caught me off guard."

She smiled for a sec then said his name was Liam or Lee, i can't remember.

The details of the casting look like they used a real person's body and wasnt carved. The upper torso seems oddly attached to the bottom half in an unnatural anatomically wrong way. Very uncanny.

"Could never tell how far away things were."
Is a reference to him being a cyclops, and that it takes two eyes to have depth perception, by having two slightly offset points of view enables you to triangulate the third position.

This is also why some predators that like to ambush, like cats and mantis rock back and forth slightly before attacking.

So i've beaten Typhon a ton of times. But i got to the point in the story where you finally use the Disintegration of monstrosity on him and i cannot beat him nomatter what build i use.

Is this fight in particular buffed?
I just failed a run fighting him with the daggers, i must have dealt atleast 100k damage to him and he still didnt die. The fight went on for about 20 minutes. I spammed my burst of daggers, each burst doing 1k damage, going invincible with my selene boon and dealing another 1k against his harder attacks to dodge, i used up 4 death defiances i had just on him. Got past the part with zeus within the first 2 minutes, then it just felt like the fight went on forever, longer than usual.

EDIT: It was definitely a bug, i finally got him and killed him in less than 5 minutes with a build that wasnt even as good. I have a hunch using %damage death defiance to total health did something to break the bug.
