Just ordered a used copy of the base game. I’m not sure which year it’s from, so I don’t know if it’s the original insert or the revised one that works better with sleeved cards. Any recommendations for sleeves that will fit either way? I usually use game genic but I’m not sure if they’ll fit.
Would love if I could get it in the Richmond,VA area. Also down for it to be shipped.
I appreciate that they’re still around, and I still think they’re the best in the game. The difference between them and other competitors is a lot smaller in terms of influence these days though. Their views per video are way down compared to their heyday. I also feel like they aren’t covering the games that the people want to see these days. The games changed since the golden age. At that point they were doing some of the first high quality coverage of classic games to try to get new people into the hobby.
These days people want early impressions on kickstarters to validate their purchase. I still check out their new reviews, but I kinda feel like Quinns got out at the right time. The culture has changed and he saw the writing in the wall. The people just don’t want to watch a video and say hey that sound like fun, I’ll give it a chance! They want early impressions on things they’ve spent hundreds of dollars on this years ago and want someone to tell them they made the right choice.
Edit. Just pointing out that I’m not saying I want them to be making kickstarter previews/reviews at all. I was saying that them not doing it while almost every other channel does is a possible reason for their viewership decline. There’s got to be a reason so many other channels focus on it. I personally prefer their approach where I can usually buy the game after watching the review.

This looks pretty cool from what they’ve show . A board game version of Earthborne rangers that isn’t a campaign game. Looks like a good way to play EBR with my non card game friends.
Was looking at picking this one up and wanted to get some opinions on it.
I’m wondering how the dual screen with touch controls works on a single screen. I’ve been wanting to get into these games but maybe not on a retroid if it’s too finicky.
