I ate gluten and I have my most important final exam tomorrow

Hi everyone, 18f here. Was out for lunch with my family and I got avocado toast with eggs. I ordered it gluten free obviously. I was halfway through the second slice and noticed that there was those fried fried up onions on them. Immediately stopped eating. This was about 4 hours ago and the only symptom that I’m feeling is having a flushed face and my eyesight has worsened (does this happen to anyone else?). I’m just so so worried I’m going to be sick for tomorrow’s exams. Anyone got any advice on how to lessen my symptoms? I know it’s hard but I am asking for anything at all. Many thanks for reading, advice gratefully appreciated

What vitamins / supplements to add to diet for improved cognitive function and reduced brain fog

Hey! 18f with really important exams coming up within the next week. Just wondering what to add to diet to improve my brain function/ memory. I also really suffer from brain fog. I also have celiac so this could be a factor. Thanks and any advice welcome:)

AITJ for not catering for my best friends “dietary needs”?

Backstory: I am 18f as is my best friend, we have been friends since elementary school. I have diagnosed celiac disease ever since I was 11, a severe auto immune condition which means I have to avoid gluten and products that may contain gluten at all costs. And as a pre warning I absolutely love my best friend and always will.

It all started when we were 15 and I started having complications in relation to my celiac disease, I had been out of school for about a week after being in hospital on drips and IVs. The next week my friend randomly decided that she was lactose intolerant, WITHOUT doctor diagnosis or even visiting a doctor. She told all of our other friends that she had been to a doctor but told me that she just wanted to tell them as a joke. I remember feeling a bit rubbed in the wrong way and explained to her that that’s a bit odd but didn’t really go any deeper into it. And as this whole story happens she remains eating diary products at home.

As time went on when we went on school trips and camps together she would go down as “lactose intolerant” and obviously I would have to have gluten free foods. What rubs me the wrong way now is that she just expects to have dairy free food options at camps and school trips and whenever there isn’t enough options for her undiagnosed dietary requirements. However, like I said she continues to eats diary at home. I also felt like it takes away from the severity of my needs as we sort of come as a pair.

However, over spring break me my boyfriend, herself and her boyfriend decided to take a camping trip. And long story short, I offered to provide the snacks and meals for everyone. And I just thought to myself why should I buy her dairy free products whilst she clearly eats dairy at home. Cut to the first night camping we got down to eat a meal of spaghetti bolognese and she turns around and says “do you have diary free cheese then”. And I said no why would I bring you dairy free cheese if you eat it at home. In the end she and her boyfriend stormed off. I just find it really bizarre. But I just dont understand it. Any advice? Thanks;)

advice needed PLEASE/ rant:)

Hey, I am an eightteen year old girl. Long story short, I have suffered with body image issues and an ED (doctor didn’t put an official label on it) for as long as I can remember. I began recovery whenever I was 16 and I got to a point where I was happy with myself. Then it all started to go downhill after this summer, I started noticing the typical lumpy lipedema texture (a genetic fat condition which means that there is uncontrollable build up of fat in most commonly legs and arms). And I started to gain weight, I am now 65kg and this time a year ago I was like the late fifties. As someone who has suffered with an ED I am genuinely struggling with the weight gain, I have no idea how to prevent it or slow it down. I am trying to hard. It is ruining my quality of life, for example, we are having a graduation party on Saturday and the dress code is short skirts. I feel so anxious even thinking about it all I can think about is how am I going to cover my cellulite and the stretch marks that have formed. I just want someone to talk to that understands. (I am a healthy weight on BMI btw). Thank you for my rant, any advice or words of wisdom would be much appreciated:) THANKS!!

Hey, I am an eightteen year old girl who is in late stage one. Both my mother and grandmother have it. Long story short, I have suffered with body image issues and an ED for as long as I can remember. I began recovery whenever I was 16 and I got to a point where I was happy with myself. Then it all started to go downhill after this summer, I started noticing the typical lumpy lipedema texture. (unpreventable genetic condition that causes weight gain, which my mum is diagnosed with!) And then I started to gain weight (I think I am about 65kg and this time last year I was in the late fifties) As someone who has suffered with an ED I am genuinely struggling with the weight gain, I have no idea how to prevent it or slow it down. (I am a healthy weight on BMI btw- 65kg and 163cm) Thank you for my rant, any advice or words of wisdom would be much appreciated, I just want to look like my old self.THANKS!!
