Need ideas for a flail attachment point?

I'm building v2 of my fire flail, the first was a gift and has a terrible burn time. How can I get a smoother front propeller spin? I don't trust bearings from nunchucks, this takes way more force. Would pulling the initial chain link in the shaft so it's only a semi-circle smooth it out?

The Sixth Sun an animated series in production

An artist friend of mine Abigail Roscoe, has been producing an absolutely stunning animated series based on Aztec mythology. Storyboards of each episode are going live in YouTube and they're BEAUTIFUL.

If this is something you want to see come to fruition, follow her work at coyote-studio.com. She unfortunately lost access to her Reddit account so I'm posting on her behalf, but I'm not actually involved.

I hope you enjoy.

Shower Enrichment Complex

We had a hard time keeping our green keeled lizard's enclosure humid enough when we got him. He didn't like being put in a "sauna box" at all, so I built him a place to hang out while I took my shower. The vines encircle the room, so there's lots to explore and he takes advantage of that. He also licks the walls, has always preferred spray over standing water. It's great to have a shower buddy, he joins me almost daily. His shedding is perfect.

Let's see your out of tank enrichment projects.

Looking for a primary source on Swazi folklore surrounding chameleons

Greetings! Last year, one of the WildEarth Safari guides, I believe James Hendry, mentioned a folk-belief, that the bite of a chameleon would change your gender. I've been able to narrow it down to the Swazi people, but I'd like to find a primary source reference?

Thank you so much.

You can just make yourself the First Lord of the Star League!

Stephen Amaris isn't real, he can't stop you.

Fun little project with a keychain from the first Kickstarter.

Found a cute fat fox in the trash and under them was a cape that totally matches my style!

I find the BEST trash! Wouldn't have thought twice about buying this from a thrift store. My partner loves her new plush.

I can't recommend building one enough. Admittedly, I've got well over a decade of flexible weapons, including san-jie-gun, and nunchucks, but I can't handle a staff to save my life. It's really reactive and super easy to shift planes. I'm going to rebuild the wick, currently the burn time is kinda unacceptable.

I can't wait to get the photo I used as the preview image edited. I love how much light is being thrown out, while the flames aren't really visible. The look of the woman with the fans is priceless.

Schmidt Ocean Institute's Falcor(too) is sending the ROV SuBastian down into the deep darkness. Dives usually run about 8 hours and are narrated in both English and Spanish. Please ask questions in the chat, all levels of experience welcome.
