Longines Haters are the most toxic Haters
Apparently all Longines produces is either crap, dogcrap, trash, ugly or an homage.
Leave Longines alone :D.

Didn't expect to see so much microbrand hate on here :D.
They have nice designs with great finishing and OTF clasps for under a grand, that's good enough for me.
I don't want a 4th hand on my watch and it makes it harder to set.
It's crazy how many times recently I read things like "no, the watch is not too small for you" in all kind of different variations, many of which suggest that a person liking bigger watches is compensating for something.
While that might be true in some cases, it seems some people don't grasp the concept of personal taste.
Maybe the guy is compensating for something or maybe he just enjoys the look of a big watch. You might enjoy the look of a small watch and both are perfectly fine, but equating either preference to masculinity or similar themes is crazy :D.
I know this is a hot takes sub, but do you think we should make an exception for questions?
The guy said he doesn't like the platinum Daytona and everyone was like "yeah we know, all modern Dytonas are ugly".
WTF is wrong with you people? It's a perfectly nice watch. Maybe it's not to everyones taste to be a 10/10 or even 7/10, but ugly? You guys are sniffing too much glue...
I hate that area soo much. I don't care about big spaces within act 3, I can deal with it. I didn't even care about Matlan Waterways when it was levers because at least the map was linear.
But nothing beats the feels bad moment of searching for the 20 thousand soul cores while backtracking through the whole map, finally finding the way to Jiquanis Sanctum, only to realize I can't even go there yet because I still have to find the Fire Res guy...
I'm currently on my 7th character this league and nothing makes my blood boil as much as Jiquanis Machinarium, thank you for attending my Ted Talk.
So I might be objectively wrong here in which case please educate me, but my argument goes like this:
As far as I understand it the water resistance worsens over time and in certain intervals you should get it checked / fixed.
By that logic: If you're lazy and don't take good care of your watch, the more water resistance you have to begin with the more leeway you have for it to get worse over time before it becomes a problem.
What if I use Eternal Life, then maybe CI for good measure and Lifetap on all of my skills, could I spam them or would they instantly kill me?
I don't know if I'm super unlucky with the particular pieces that I got or if lume just really is that shit.
I've had over 20 watches and even bought a Phorcydes because people said "that's the best lume ever" and stuff like that.
And yeah sure, if you go inside after sun exposure it looks cool for a couple of seconds.
But I've never felt that the feature is actually useful. If I wake up in the middle of the night none of my watches were bright enough to read the time easily and most of the time my phone is in reach anyway so I'd rather use that.
I don't know, I just don't get it. Pretty sure if a watch loses all luminescence overnight I wouldn't even notice something changed.
Especially compared to Strongboxes or Rune Summons I appreciate that the monsters spawn without delay.
I just wish Essences will be worth something again next patch.^^
The Vulnerability text says:
>Curse inflicts -(16—19210) to Total Armour
If I fully break the enemies armour, does it go negative with Vulnerability and my phys damage does extra damage or can Vulnerability not make the enemies armour negative?
I'm looking for a light summer watch around 39mm or 40mm. Preferably titanium with an OTF clasp and quartz. I only found this Tag (even though I'm not even sure it has an OTF clasp) but it's 3k which is a bit steep...
Do you know any microbrand alternatives?
Not always of course. But I feel like often times the attribute cost (if it's a non primary attribute) is way too high for a marginal improvement.
I can't be the only one who feels this way, but for normal Skill Gems I'm excited to find a higher level gem because I can do more damage.
But if I see higher level Spirit Gem often times I'm thinking:
>Ah fuck, do I have enough STR/DEX/INT to increase my damage by 0.01%? I think I won't bother, I'll check again 5 levels later.
I see it all the time, "Traska just makes Rolex homages". Yeah sure the Commuter looks a bit like an Oyster Perpetual, but the other ones?
I don't think you can call it an homage if there is no chance to confuse the two. How does the Summiteer look like an Explorer, because it has a 3, 6 and 9? You can choose colors that don't even exist with an Explorer and the hands, indices, dial and crystal shape are different. And the metal on the case and bracelet looks nothing like what a Rolex looks like (I assume it's maybe due to the hardening coating).
And then the Freediver, it looks nothing like a Submariner except that it's also a dive watch...
People who confuse a Freediver with a Submariner would also think the Tissot Seastar is a Rolex...
Visuals are shit, quality is shit.
You want a nice looking Rolex homage? Look on alix for San Martin, Cronos or other Chinese brands.
Many of them nowadays have nice milled OTF adjustable clasp and a sapphire crystal, more than you can say about a lot of Seikos btw, but that is just a bit of side shade. Some of them even have original designs.
Yes some of you don't mind them, I wish I could ignore the sound and fucking spinning feeling...
I have 4 watches with Miyota Movements ranging between 8 and 9 series and they all suck. The sound is annoying but even worse is the feeling. You just have to move your wrist once in an unfortunate way (and it doesn't even have to be abrupt or fast) and you can feel the rotor spinning like you're working out with a fucking powerball handtrainer.
I would like to avoid them but unfortunately they are so prominent in Microbrands which I often times love the design of...
