Do you really need a computer for OSINT or am I just doing it wrong?

I’m pretty new to OSINT and I’m wondering if you actually need a computer, coding knowledge, or downloaded software to get good results.
I’ve mostly been using my iPhone and free websites, but I feel like I’m barely finding anything compared to what other people seem capable of finding.
Is OSINT actually effective on an iPhone, or am I seriously limiting myself by not using a computer? Or maybe I’m just using the wrong tools or searching the wrong way?
I’d really appreciate recommendations for free tools that actually work, especially ones that don’t require downloading software, coding, or paying for subscriptions.
I’m genuinely interested in learning how to do this properly, so any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Anyone here gotten the Platinum on PS5?

I just started a new campaign and decided my goal this time is to get every trophy and hopefully the Platinum.

I’m definitely not a hardcore gamer, I literally only play like 3 or 4 games, so this would actually be a pretty big accomplishment for me 😂

Has anyone here managed to get them all? Any trophies I should keep an eye on from the beginning or any tips you wish you knew before starting?

Thanks 🩷

I feel like I need to know the “ugly” side of him before I can trust him again

We finally started couples therapy and I’m really trying to understand what I need in order to move forward.
For years I knew one version of my husband. The good husband, the “perfect” side that everyone else sees too. And now it messes with my head knowing that while I was seeing that person, there was this whole other side of him that I didn’t know. Everyone around him still sees that perfect version and obviously they’re being lied to too but I was his wife. I thought I knew him.
I think that’s a huge part of why I can’t get my confidence or trust back.
Weirdly, I don’t feel like I need to see more of his “good” side. I already know that side. I feel like I need to understand the ugly side, the things he did, what he was looking for, how he hid it, what was going through his head, the parts of himself he kept completely separate from me.
Not because I want to torture myself with details. I just want to feel like** **I actually know the man I’m choosing to stay with.
But that’s where we’re stuck. He gets extremely defensive about access and transparency, says he doesn’t remember things, gets offended when I ask questions, etc. And every time that happens, my brain goes straight back to: there’s still a part of him I’m not allowed to see.
How am I supposed to rebuild trust in someone when I still feel like he’s deciding which version of him I’m allowed to know?
Has anyone else felt this need after discovery? Did n

Free OSINT tools for iPhone beginners?

Hey! I’m super new to OSINT and honestly a year ago I didn’t even know what Reddit was 😂
I’ve been trying to learn on my own but I keep finding tools that need Python, Linux, GitHub, command lines etc and I’m definitely not there yet lol.
I’m looking for free tools I can actually use from my iPhone, mostly for usernames, emails, phone numbers, reverse image search, finding public social media accounts/old profiles and stuff like that.
What do you guys actually use/recommend for someone starting from basically zero?
I don’t mind learning, I just need somewhere to start that isn’t insanely complicated.
Thanks !!!

Emotionally disconnected, but my body still wants him. Anyone else?

I don’t even know how to explain this without sounding completely contradictory.

Emotionally, I feel absolutely destroyed by everything that has happened. And it’s not just emotional anymore. My body is physically reacting to the stress. I barely eat, I’ve lost weight, I’m losing my hair, my immune system seems completely shot… even a mosquito bite recently turned into a massive infection. I genuinely feel like my body is screaming that it can’t handle much more.

I feel disconnected from my husband emotionally. Hurt, angry, betrayed, sometimes even disgusted. My brain remembers everything. There are moments when I look at him and all I can think about is what he did and how badly it has affected me.

But sexually? My body apparently didn’t get the memo.

I still respond to him. I still want him sexually sometimes, and when he touches me, my body can react before my brain even has a chance to process what I’m feeling. And afterward I’m left confused because how can I feel so emotionally unsafe and disconnected from someone, while my body still recognizes and desires him?

It almost makes me angry at my own body. Like, why do you still want this person when I’m hurting this badly because of him?

I know physical attraction and emotional trust aren’t necessarily the same thing, but experiencing that separation firsthand is messing with my head.
Has anyone else experienced this after betrayal? Where mentally and emotionally you feel completely disconnected, maybe you don’t even know if you want the relationship anymore, but sexually your** **body still responds to them like nothing happened?

I’d really like to know I’m not the only one because this contradiction is making me feel crazy.

Telegram — please don’t judge me 😭

I really don’t want to be judged for this, I’m already freaking out. I asked him about Telegram before, and he told me he had deleted the app from his phone. When we tried to connect to Telegram Web, it said that a code had been sent through Telegram, so I believed him. Well… I just found out that he has the Telegram app installed on his computer. I tried to log in, and it said that a code would be sent to his phone. I got so fucking scared that he would get a notification or see what I was doing that I immediately closed the computer 😭

My question is: is there somehow a way to log in WITHOUT a code being sent to his phone? Or if Telegram is already installed/logged in on his computer, is there something I’m missing?

Please don’t judge me. I know how this sounds. I’m just terrified of what I might find, especially after being told the app was deleted.

Relapses

Yesterday I was looking through the site history and clicked on a link. It was a site with live videos, and the same couple my husband had watched before happened to be live when I clicked.
I got curious and started reading the comments. Then I saw a man write, “You’re making me relapse, baby.”
That really hit me. Not because I thought it was my husband,I don’t think it was, but because I couldn’t stop wondering about the person who wrote it.
What was he feeling when he typed that? Was he proud of himself? Was he excited that he had “relapsed”? Was he ashamed but still caught up in the moment? Why would someone announce it to the people they were watching?
And what does “you’re making me relapse” even mean to someone in that moment? Is he blaming them, flirting with them, or actually feeling like the relapse is something exciting?
I know addiction can completely mess with someone’s thinking, but seeing those words from a stranger made me wonder what is actually going on inside the mind of someone who is actively relapsing.
For those of you who have partners with sex/porn addiction, have you ever heard them describe what they were feeling or thinking during a relapse? I’m trying so hard to understand what that mindset is like.

Am I overreacting?

My husband is a recovering sex addict. The other day I found an old Reddit account of his. I didn't find anything recent the last comment I saw was around 6 years ago but reading what he had commented still hurt.

Last night I brought it up and told him I'd found the account. His first response was, "I don't know what you're talking about." So I told him the username, and that was pretty much it.

This morning I checked again... and the account was gone.

That's what's messing with my head. Last night he didn't know what account I was talking about, but somehow by this morning it had been deleted. He obviously knew how to get into it pretty fast. And he never even told me he deleted it.

What also bothers me is that this wasn't the Reddit account he left logged into on his computer before. So now my brain is going, "If there was another account I didn't know about, what's stopping there from being another one?" I have no proof he's using Reddit for that kind of stuff or that there's another account, but just realizing he could has completely shaken me.

Ever since D-Day, I feel like I can't trust my own thoughts anymore. Part of me feels like I'm overthinking everything, and another part of me feels like I'd be stupid to ignore red flags. I honestly don't know how to think straight anymore.

AIO for feeling like the account being deleted overnight makes this seem a lot more suspicious, even if the comments I found were from 6 years ago?

I got banned from AskMen for pointing out a double standard

I got banned from the AskMen subreddit because I said I don’t understand why some men think it’s not okay for their wife to make NSFW posts, but at the same time they are okay watching NSFW content from other women.
Like I understand that everyone has their own boundaries and if you don’t want your wife to post that kind of stuff, okay. But then shouldn’t the same rules apply to both people?
If you’re okay watching other women post NSFW content, why is it so bad if your wife wants to make that type of content?
I never said all men do this or that all men are bad. I was literally just talking about the double standard.
And then they told me I hate men because my husband cheated on me and that I have unresolved issues.
How does that even make sense? Just because my husband cheated on me doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to have my own opinion. I never said all men cheat and I never said all men are the same.
I can disagree with something men do without hating men.
What bothers me the most is that instead of actually talking about what I was saying, they made it about my personal life and basically decided that my opinion only comes from being hurt.
I honestly feel like women get told they are “misandrist” way too easily when they point out something that isn’t fair to women.
I just don’t understand why it’s okay for a man to watch NSFW content from other women, but his wife making that same type of content is suddenly completely unacceptable.
If it’s a boundary, fine. But shouldn’t it go both ways?

What's a completely useless fact that has lived rent-free in your brain for years?

I need to fill my brain with completely useless information that I will somehow remember for the rest of my life!

Mine: Bananas are berries, but strawberries technically aren’t.

A few other random facts that have permanently occupied space in my brain:
Octopuses have three hearts.
Sharks existed before trees.
A group of flamingos is called a flamboyance.
The dot over a lowercase i or j is called a tittle.

Now please give me your most useless, bizarre, fascinating fact.** **The more pointless, the better.
I want to learn something today that I will absolutely never need in my entire life.

One year since D-Day…

One year since D-Day, and I chose to stay.
So why am I falling apart now?
I haven't found anything like what I found back then. There haven't been any new discoveries. Yet now I can't sleep, I can't eat, and I cry myselfto sleep almost every night.
Has anyone else experienced this? Did the grief or trauma hit you harder long after D-Day, even when nothing new had happened? I feel like I'm breaking down a year later, and I don't understand why.

Why does Reddit search show only one unrelated post when I search for a username in a subreddit?

Hi everyone,
I'm confused about how Reddit's search works.
When I search for a specific username within a subreddit, sometimes I only get one result, but the post isn't even by that exact username, and I can't find any comments from the user I searchedfor.
Why does this happen? Is it just how Reddit'ssearch algorithm works, or is there another explanation? Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks in advance!

Parental control bypass

Hi everyone. My partner struggles with porn addiction, and we've already installed a parental control app on his Android phone. I'm wondering if it's possible for someone to install another app that could bypass or disable the parental controls.
I'm not looking for instructions on how to do it—I'm trying to understand how secure these apps really are and what I should realistically expect. If you've been in a similar situation, either as someone in recovery or as a partner, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.
Thank you.
