Any tips on veteran mode ?

So I finished the game recently with over 90% and was craving more, so I decided to make a new save with veteran mode and item shuffler and damn is it tuff, the 1.5x damage with reduced i-frames is brutal and the randomizer isn't helping ( fun tho )

I watched the game 4-5 years ago

I watched Merg's playthrough of the game while he was playing it ( hikkimori route too ).

I Love the game and it's characters so much.

I love the memes about the characters and that every kel meme is canon.

I think in terms of impact, nothing comes close to it, I cried for 15 at the final duet.

And spent a week not being able to think about anything else.

And even now whenever I think about the game I feel like some chest tightness. sorta of feeling uneasy.

I don't know why that happens to me.

Maybe it's that there is no more omori and I won't get to see the characters anymore.

Maybe I'm afraid that I'm slowly forgetting the game as time goes on.

Who knows

This post has no purpose really, just saying what's on my mind

First time playing Super Metroid, Here's what i think

Super metroid is my first metroid game and...
Yeah the game is hella great, I can see why people consider it one of the best games of all time

The Good:

At the start of the game, the vibes were scary actually but like 30 mins in that was gone.
the controls and movement felt weird to me at first but getting used to them was very satisfying.
- The Exploration is one of the best I've ever seen, I can see how this game is the reason behind the genre
- Finding secrets is so fun, and satisfying too, it's not 30 rosary beads, it's always rewarding
- The upgrade system is like the 2nd best thing in the game after the exploration, finding an upgrade opens 5 other places which also open other places and so on, it feels like there was always something to do

The Bad ( i will overlook ):
- The game lacks some QoL features like fast travel
- the map is just kind of eh
- The bosses in the game are kind of a weak point, they're certainly creative by using environment and memorable but in general not that fun

The game is 32 years old after all

The Bad ( i won't overlook ):
- Sometimes progression can be hidden under some random bombable block or a tough to find secret ( espicially maridia ), which forces me to search a playthrough cuz i don't know what to do
- The Sand in maridia is so fucking annoying.

Compared to modern MVs i will put it right in S tier next to blasphemous 2 and ender magnolia

what game do you recommend me to play next ?

all the leaks and what's going on with gooseworx just make me so sad, I wish gooseworx can be happy

All this just makes me less excited about the show and the final episode, I'm devastated

This fandom can be a real pain in the ass
