PCB student wanting to get into management consulting looking for advice

So over these 2 years I have realized that being a doctor isnt what I wish to do and doesnt align with my life goals.

I have researched career pathways and wish to get into management consulting, I have seen its pros and cons , and I know the work life balance is a bit crazy (not as the same level as ib but yeah little bit) and the work culture is insane , but despite that I think I want to get into that career pathway , because

  1. I like decision making and problem solving
  2. I like meeting new people and being in boardrooms
  3. It also has a good exit options , I heard that even if you want to get some other job , then having worked as management consultant helps.
  4. I think it will help me network with people , because I wish to start my business later on in my life.

Now I also know that if you want to get into management consulting , you need to be from top b schools , but I couldnt register for ipmat because I came to know about it after the registrations were already closed.

I have a shot at NPAT for now , I can register and all , but I have very few days left so I dont really know what to do.

If there are any universities outside that you'll would suggest me would work too, but I would need scholarship.

My father has already enrolled me into aakash coaching because he wants me to try one for neet by taking a drop , but I dont want to take a drop, I dont like that idea of drop itself and I dont want to live at home for a year either. But I'd still like your opinions on what I shall do.

My_qualifications: 10th - 96% 12th- 88.8% (I know its pretty bad but I am going to give my sheets for re eval)

Guys please help me out please read this what should I do?

I am an 18f and my mom and dad are married for nearly 19 years now. My dad is verbally abusive and also beats my mom.

I also have twin brothers who are 7 year olds. My dad has been hitting my mom since a long time now , but this last one month is getting worse everyday.

My dad just sold our house and suddenly he has a lot of money in his bank account which is part of the reason why his attitude has changed suddenly.

My mom is not working either. So she cant support all three of us. Today we were supposed to go out for a party and when I came back from my coaching today , I was so sad to see my brothers crying and my mom ready to leave the house, but she cant leave alone either , because my brothers were crying very much. He hit her a lot. He was practically straggling her all because my mom refused to dye his hair again because few of his hair were still white. She said ki me naukar thodi hu , and then my mom said he started hitting her.

I am telling her to divorce him and ask for alimony and also we are going to get a new house worth more than 2 cr this year before diwali. I am asking her to take that too under her name, Me and my brothers are ready to speak in favor of my mom wherever necessary.

I dont know what to do at all, but I cant see my mom crying either. He ruined her birthday too on 6th may. Please help me out , what should I do?

Strict action against NTA officials.

I honestly feel like NTA doing ths 'upkar' on us by giving us a refund is not enough. Matlab 1500-2000 (i dont remember the amount exactly and I guess it was different for different categories) is not the only compensation we should get, matlab aaj kal toh itne me ek online course bhi nahi aata hai neet prep ke liye toh socho kitne logo ka toh centre bhi dur hoga waha pe travel karna, rehna khana peena bhi kitna mehanga hoga.

So I genuinely feel like , strict action should be taken against higher nta officials themselves who are conducting neet and all. These people dont care about student's mental health AT ALL. The refunded amount is nothing as compared to what we went through these years of prep.

There are so many other capable people in this country, we should give them a chance. These stupid officials cant conduct a single exam. Even for CUET they gave centers to students so far away , that a lot of them couldnt even appear for exams. How long are we supposed to tolerate all their bullshits.

I genuinely feel that these higher authorities , the present director , and the officials responsible for conductions of NEET, should be expelled. The action and punishment for them should be so strict that the next officials who are hired work better and more cautiously. Since the past 3 years we are unable to conduct one single exam properly. This is actually hilarious for our education system.

(I know all these seem near impossible , but we can atleast hope and demand justice for ourselves)

How does one become an Investment banker and related jobs

My_qualifications: So is it possible for a 12th grader with pcb to become an investment banker. I want to be the best in whatever field I do. And I am ready to work hard for it. I want to switch to a commerce related field now. So i was thinking if a pcb student can become an investment banker. I didnt have maths in 12th. I wont say I am bad at maths , I scored 90 in class 10th boards. But Idk what level of maths is used while being an investment banker. Also I heard their working hours are very cruel, like 80 hours per week , so are there any other related jobs that have a better work life balance but a smiliar pay (obviously not the same as IB , because they work more , but a little lesser is fine too). If I , as a pcb student can become an Investment banker then what should I do? what courses should I take? Do college matters a lot ? Please tell me everything I would need to know

Hey so I wanted to know if any of the doctor with just an MBBS , further pursued MBA from a Top B school like IIM? If any of you have prepared for CAT

if yes , then I have a few questions.

Did you do MBBS from a govt/private college or from abroad?

Did you have any difficulty preparing for CAT?

If you have done your MBA , where are you placed now? How much are you earning now , if not definite numbers then atleast a range would work ?

Do you regret doing mba after mbbs?

I heard that you receive extra marks if you are from non engg background but considering how difficult mbbs is and not like other degrees do doctor get even more points or is the same points given to others from non engg background?

Okay so everyone I just gave my class 12th boards , I am a pcb student but I am now leaning towards ipmat and business studies in general. So my parents are forcefully making me take a drop for neet. But I want to try for ipmat so how can I study for ipmat 2027 at home , without any coaching. (I didnt register this year because I got to know about ipmat only a few weeks ago T_T)
