Loose skin is NOT the enemy
Today I am officially 100lbs down.
Yes, I have loose skin.
Yes, I worried about having loose skin.
No, I don’t love it.
But you know what? I can’t overstate how having some loose skin is sooooo much better than
• being in physical pain due to your size
• constantly getting winded doing basic daily tasks
• not being able to shop at “normal” stores
• worrying about your health
• actually having health consequences because of your obesity
• being stared at and judged just for existing
• constantly being turned down because you’re fat
• worrying if you’ll be too big for planes, restaurant booths, fun activities like waterslides, trail riding, etc

OMAD - did I overdo it?

I’m no Liv Schmidt and ended up having two whole boiled eggs plus seaweed for my OMAD today. I ate all the yolks, and I didn’t count the 1/8 tsp of sesame seed or the hot sauce.
Currently boofing 6mg of tirz every 96 hours.

How would you redo the Hilary ad?
Me?
She’s fully clothed (wild that I have to specify that) in a cute Y2K outfit. Maybe layered tanks and one of those low slung ruffle miniskirts? Her song What Dreams Are Made Of is playing.
She’s hanging out in a bedroom made to look 2000s, at her vanity putting on one of the glosses, other products on view on her vanity in the background.
Then she’s dancing around, laughing and texting someone on a bedazzled Sidekick. She grabs a body lotion and applies some on her arms.
Then she runs down the stairs and she’s at her front door, spritzes herself with a FFM, smiles, grabs her “it bag” (with coin purse as bag charm) and runs out to jump into a cute Jeep Wrangler filled with her friends.
Maybe there’s even a car air freshener and the charm or a coin purse dangling from the mirror.
Show us how the collection looks in “her world”, you know?

Do I still have an apron tummy? Yes.
Is it way smaller? Yes!
Do I have loose skin on my arms and legs now? Yep
Do I wish I had no loose skin? Yep!
But when you look at this video, do you see a tummy and loose skin? I don’t! I see a cute summer outfit, and someone who feels comfy in their own skin despite all that.

Rent control nuances
Hello! We are unclear on one of the nuances of rent control.
My sister is renting an apartment unit in a house.
* house was built in the 90s.
* early 2000s it was split into 2 units.
* apparently in 2019 a third unit was created
She thought that the property was rent controlled since it was built and lived in prior to 2018.
Her landlord just told her rent is going to be raised higher than permissible with rent control. Apparently she lives in the unit created after rent control cut off date.
If anyone could explain if this correct, I would greatly appreciate!
As I understand it (but want to verify): it seems that the issue here is that it’s not “when a building was built” which is what she assumed, but rather, when a specific unit was occupied.
So if she’s living in #3, and #3 was NOT created as a unit/lived in until after the rent control cut off date, then she’s not subject to rent control?

Runway sample?
Hi all! From my brief research, it seems blank tags mean runway samples? I got this jacket, size 40 (ie US 4) and the tag inside has “Look (unintelligible)” written on it.
