Interested in the CB Combo Set as well as the Woods (specifically 3w) and driver (is there any real difference between their first and second generation?)

Just watched SLF and upon looking into it saw it was an MMORPG, when I looked up MMORPG I saw this (World Of Warcraft) to be the best one. I just had a few questions:
is the game still active in the early stages or is everyone highly leveled and it would be more of a solo grind for me?
what are the benefits of the different classes? I would like to be some sort of fast character based on chip damage (I feel like it’s the most fun for me to run around dodge and outplay rather than to just be mad op and run through someone)
I saw free to play but also that it required a subscription so does the subscription unlock more features or more zones?
4 and most importantly) How’s the game play?
Currently have Balloon, Magic Archer, Bowler, Knight
Significantly under leveled for my arena (we’re talking lvl 9-12 cards vs lvl 14-16) so decided next season imma use a no skill deck and wanted to know what would fit in the new meta//what the new meta would be
