I'm trying to get The Beatles Pinball Machine up and running, and for some reason the video and topper just won't work for me. It's not in full screen mode, I've messed with a bunch of other settings and I'm not sure what's the problem. They load in like normal until the table loads in, at which point they're gone... What do I need to do?
I’m looking to emulate Golden Tee Fore using a Windows 10 PC with a Radeon 5450 Graphics Card. It’s connected to an Ultimarc J-PAC that connects to the JAMMA and sync cable. The CRT is a Hitachi A68KRQ58X.
I’m running CRT Emudriver set on a standard Arcade 15.7kHz resolution. When I enable EDID, this is the best I get. I’ve messed with the monitor settings, I’ve tried Composite Sync, I’ve tried changing polarities in the monitors tab, confirmed it’s user list is set to user modes - super.
I’m out of ideas. Anyone have any suggestions?

Last post I had was about how I went to the hospital for acute pericarditis and the hospital told me I had to pay $16,000 because insurance denied it. It was a coding error. After escalating the issue to the Director of Coding for Ensemble Health Partners, I got an actual response and the team resubmitted the claim. I checked last night and it was 100% covered by insurance.
I’m so happy about this, it is a massive weight off my shoulders and I slept well last night! Now I can get back to my debt payoff strategy and move past this 2-month fight with insurance, the billing company and the hospital.
This was last night’s dinner, beef in vindaloo simmer sauce over broccoli and brown rice.
I bought a Schneider 50W soldering kit from Harbor Freight, I wanted to learn how to solder and de-solder on PCB. I had an old computer from 2011 that I ripped the motherboard out of to practice. I set the tip to 370C, flux the area, tin the tip (also test with core and clean off), hold de-soldering wick and the tip to the contacts and...nothing. I've held for 10-15 seconds, and despite the flux burning off it doesn't seem to do anything else. I've tried direct contact to work with the pump, but it still doesn't seem to melt it. I've increased temp to 400C, ordered different tips, tested a chisel vs conical, nothing. I've confirmed I can solder with wire, but I'm not sure what else I can really try here.
I'm guessing it's something I'm missing, but... would this soldering kit work for this? What else can I test?

Early April, I paid the last payment on a $30K student loan debt. I’ve had to pay throughout COVID and finally got it all done after working hard and making extra payments. It felt amazing. I still have federal loans, but it’s one step closer to the rest of my life.
The day after my birthday, I (33M) went to the ER. I had Acute Pericarditis, and the doctor performed a heart catheterization to verify it wasn’t something worse. I’m glad we did it…until I got a $16K bill from the hospital.
Now, my insurance has told me they would cover it, but it was coded wrong. I’ve now spent weeks talking between the care provider and Ensemble Health Partners (billing company). Neither of them talk to each other, but neither of them believe me when I tell them what the other says. I’m currently waiting on the Doctor to write a letter to send to Ensemble to get the diagnosis codes changed (Apparently “Acute Pericarditis” isn’t a “medically necessary“ reason for this procedure, but “Chest Pain” is).
I’m so nervous. Nervous that insurance still won’t approve it, or the care provider will give me grief, or the billing just won’t make the change. I’ve been very anxious, I’m having a hard time sleeping, and I now have a much shorter temper. This debt feels like a massive setback to the rest of my life. I want to marry my girlfriend, and save for a house, and my debt payoff timeline now has another year added because of this. I make $60K annually and have a side hustle, I‘m considering a PT job just to kill this debt once and for all. Exercise helps with stress, but only briefly.
For now… Black pepper turkey with Provolone, Hummus from scratch and a Basil Pesto (using Basil, Parsley and Oregano from my organic garden) and tortilla chips.
UPDATE: I had escalated this case to director level (found their emails) and they responded. They have updated the codes and will resubmit the claim today. I also received a letter from the doctor about medical necessity (not the requested letter, but fair enough) that I’ll also send off to insurance just to confirm this gets resolved.

I acquired Golden Tee Fore! Complete, had to fix the sync cable and ground on the monitor. Whenever I turn it on, the PSU turns on and off. I unplugged the PSU from most devices but it still turns on and off again. Before getting a PSU I want to know if there’s anything else I can check or if it’s just smarter to swap the PSU when it does this.
