What are some popular D&D spells and how many dice do you need to roll in order to cast them I'm asking this question because I need information for the d20 item table in my Hot Wheels D&D campaign for dungeons and dragons spells

I'm a new player who's barely ever played dungeons & dragons I don't know how many dice are needed for certain spells I know you at least need 6 d6 for fireball but I don't know how many you need for other iconic spells like magic missile but could you guys give me a list of popular D&D spells and also the number of dice needed so I can write those numbers down on my d20 item table so I can have them ready for my Hot Wheels D&D campaign if I ever get it off the ground I'll mostly be using the gas lands rules the d20 will only be used whenever you hit an item box you'll get items from Mario kart dungeons and dragons spells or cars 2 to weapons

Which game on my shelf do you think would be easiest to Port directly into dungeons & dragons rules as written

Hey look at all the board games I have on my shelf you might not be able to read all their titles but I have a lot of board games several different versions of Monopoly taboo and other games I'm wondering if any D&D players know which one of these games would be able to be put directly into D&D with absolutely no changes to how that board game originally worked if you have any questions on any of the games I can explain the rules briefly in a comment like the villainous games Blockbuster flip seven spoons smasher trash imagine if the apples to apples pirates dice buzzword operation the DVD board games obviously won't be able to be ported like seen it seen it too or clue the DVD board game also they've seen it heard it and some other games that people may not be familiar with like would you rather prove it celebrity taboo which is different from regular taboo which I also have imagine if I also have risk the best of TV and movies Uno both standard and show no mercy

Which one of these board games do you think would be easiest to Port to D&D rules as written

Hey look at my collection of board games which one of these games from just a picture do you think would be able to be ported easily The dungeons and dragons rules as written that means we're able to play this game inside dungeons and dragons exactly how the rules of the original game worked without having to change anything about the game itself like Blockbuster villainous Uno show no mercy or regular Uno buzzword pirates dice clue imagine if apples to apples would you rather taboo smash or trash operation scene it or all my various versions that are not in this picture Monopoly like Monopoly she does edition Monopoly deluxe edition Monopoly Ghostbusters edition and Monopoly prism FIFA cup world cup edition I know the DVD games like seen it seen it to include the DVD board game will be unable to reported but things like flip seven seen it heard it spoons bingo should be pretty easy to Port

My D& D beyblade campaign

Here's an idea I had for a D&D campaign a beyblade campaign based around all three generations that I currently have access to metal burst and x I currently do not have enough x blades for this but I have plenty of burst and metal blades are hard to get a hold of especially in the United States since I'd have to order them and get them shipped here from Japan but fortunately my old roommate left behind his entire metal collection when he moved out so I have quite a few metal blades to start the metal campaign journey through D&D to uncover the secrets of the legendary blader and the lost mythical blade that was supposed to bring peace and Harmony to the beyblade world perfect tempo all while uncovering the secret between each of the three generations

This is my magic party box as you can see from all the stuff here it's quite extensive and I was wondering would this be similar to the cube in magic the gathering

D&D questions

Okay so I'm assuming everyone in this group is more knowledgeable about the D&D that I am since I've only ever played one campaign of D&D which I never got to finish because my DM ended up having a mental breakdown and my library stopped hosting D&D events after that and I've never actually played D&D my first ever campaign dragon of ice fire peak was disastrous I didn't have any of the miniatures I needed I couldn't even figure out how to start the campaign so I just dropped my level one player right in front of the dragon of ice fire peak which I used a red dragon figure because that's all I had the time and hoped they survived so is it bad that I've only ever studied two of the core books needed for D&D wanted to reskin the giant worm as a graboid from tremors, in dragon advice for a peak and want to do unique different campaigns that go beyond standard D&D like Hot Wheels beyblade Pokemon Nerf guns magic the gathering Yu-Gi-Oh and other unique ideas for campaigns like Bakugan I figure for the toy base campaigns instead of using dice to determine what happens we use the actual toys themselves to determine the outcomes which makes any combat skill based rather than luck based based off of a dice roll also I've been looking into other games like gas lands and I even briefly toyed around with it looking into Warhammer 40k. my question is is it right for me to assume that everything I'm doing in done the dragons is incorrect?

New DM seeking advice

Hi I'm fairly new to D&D I don't believe in one shots I believe if you have a big enough campaign idea you should develop it into a full-fledged campaign but I have no idea what I'm doing in D&D do I have to follow the official books can I do my own thing and how do I get people interested in the unique ideas for D&D Plus what are the rules for D&D like do I only get to use official D&D figures or can I use any figure from franchises do I have to religiously sick to characters that can only fit on a one by one square oven a grid knob or can I break that rule and use unique figures like my toys to life figures I mean I've at least for red The play is handbook for 5th edition and the Dunn's master's guide for 5th edition so I at least know some of the basics I haven't read the updated 5.5 edition but I've always considered that to be kind of an expansion of D&D and is not like an official rules change also do I have to use miniatur And can I use things like my party box as a kind of stand-in for the deck of many things Zack of anythings I can't even figure out what it does And do I have to stick to official D&D resources or can I create my own like pokémon Yu-Gi-Oh magic The gathering Digimon beyblade Hot Wheels Nerf guns and other franchises and the advice that I can get from other people who have been in my situation would be great for you helped

Did I do something wrong when I made my characters for my Yu-Gi-Oh! D&D campaign?

I want players to tear apart these character sheets. Did I do something wrong when I came up with character sheets for these characters this is for one of my more unique ideas and I don’t really know how to properly fill out a character sheet back in the day, I thought you had to roll a D 20 for everything, including your stats. I basically have no idea what I’m doing in DND and I’d like whatever help I can get and if you can give me any suggestions on what I should do when making future character sheets you can tell me.

DND ideas

Hi, I’m fairly new to DND. I don’t even know how to play regular DND and yet I have some unique ideas for campaigns, including a Yu-Gi-Oh theme a Beyblade themed campaign maybe even Bakugan in the future a hot wheels DND racing campaign using the Gasland rulebook because DND currently has no rulebook for vehicles and even my most ambitious idea for a ultimate city ultimate heroes please I want actual DND players to tear apart my Nerf idea for a campaign based around team video game versus team apocalypse, which consist of three teams, team zombie team, Dino, and team alien

D&D book that I don't even think will work in D&D

Just recently picked us up from Amazon to try to use it in my Hot Wheels D&D campaign but I'm not really sure if converting this book for a post-apocalyptic D&D campaign will work for my Hot Wheels racing campaign like I said I'm kind of new to D&D and I have a lot of unique ideas for converting campaigns but this Hot Wheels campaign is one that I've had on the back burner for quite a while and I can't even get my first campaign started because I have so many different ideas for campaigns that I'm not even sure what my friends would be interested in probably I should talk to them first before I try to convert like a hundred different campaigns like beyblade Bakugan pokémon Yu-Gi-Oh magic the gathering Yu-Gi-Oh and I was even planning on replacing the deck of many things with my party box. So does anyone have advice for a new DM like me who can't seem to settle on any one campaign or how to convert my weird ideas into campaigns for D&D

Pokémon the anime journey the video game

Would you be interested in playing a fan-based game called pokémon the anime journey where you play through both Ash ketchum's anime journey in the first half where if you stray off for ashes pads for any reason you'll get one of three unique endings which will just boot you back to the start until you complete the game exactly how Ash did in the anime You then after Ash's journey take on either legal Roy or Dot and go through the event of the journey series

Lego ultimate City ultimate heroes

This is one of my many ideas for a campaign but I need to know if D&D players would even be interested in this before I spend a huge amount of money building this it is a city that combines both old and new Lego together has the main villain of the brickster from those old Lego computer games as the main villain and is a two-part campaign part one is the ground-based campaign focusing on the Lego dimensions characters and them having to go out in the city to recruit heroes from other Lego franchises like fast and the furious and other LEGO franchises that exist within this ultimate city only for the bricster at the end of this version of the campaign escapes into outer space where you take on new characters there's blasting off into space to stop the brickster by working with the space police Star Trek crew and the rebellion from Star wars to stop the brickster from blowing up the Lego Earth with the Lego death Star.

My D&D figures

Look at all these figures and stuff I can use for D&D I'm betting just based on what's in this picture you can come up with like a million campaigns based on just what you see
