so i made kewl gnb map in pax historia. Now if you dont know what gnb is its basically a zombie apocalypse but its in 1842 back when there were mostly flintlocks and sabres. very cool.
in the pic duchy of warsaw and prussia are kind of doomed and denmark? its a goner... right now im playing as the french empire and im kind of repelling them away. im thinking of uniting with austrian empire to do another push forward towards duchy of warsaw. Fun fact here its all realistic. 8 turns before this everybody was still fighting until the battle in leipzig where everybody united and understood HOLY HELL THIS IS GONNA KILL US.

Everything before September 1812 happened historically. The one difference is a disease called the Blight, which appeared in the closing stages of the Russo-Turkish War among Russian and Ottoman troops leaving the Caucasus. Look at that. It says AMBIGUOUS and it changed from deceased to that. So we might get duke of wellington back but i dont really think so for a few reasons:
1 he literally was depressed and if you are depressed i doubt you will try and survive a giant horde of zombies and even if you do thats sure gonna be TOUGH.
2 even if he did i think he might have just commited a very depressing thing later on (you know what im talking about)
3 even if 1 and 2 didnt finish him the king and his guards will for sure just as he said.
4 what is he gonna do after he escapes (maybe) the house anyways? all the routes out of london are just cut off and theres no escape unless he holes up in a rooftop with food and water collectors but once again after that its goes back to reason 2.
The ONLY way he survives if a miracle happens he goes holes up somewhere for a while some guys find him after the possible reclamation of london (as suggested by trafalgar house new lore) and even THEN the guards will have to somehow convince the KING to spare him and just not kill him THEMSELVES

theres like genuienly no way he survives this. Its like little timmy gets out of his straight jacket the coffin hes put in and then the locked room with a blast proof door and the sinking ship he is in while he has only 1 minute of oxygen left.

basically im making a cozy cute gam (but something goes wrong bla bla) and basically this isnt supposed to be horror section but it just feels off-putting and weird. Any advice on fixing it? also the cat is the main character

So I started a Pax Historia run as Germany in 2016. My plan was simple: invade everything. I started with the Netherlands because why not.

Phase 1: Immediate disaster

• Invaded NL, took Amsterdam + 1/4 of the country
• Used a sandwich technique by also pushing down from Denmark
• Tried to claim "they started it" — AI rejected it
• Tried lying about it a SECOND time — also rejected
• NATO mobilizing, France deploying defensive forces to Luxembourg, Dutch Reserve Forces holding the line
• Pretty much doomed

Phase 2: The Hail Mary

I came up with the "rogue general" gambit. Made up a General Klaus Hoffmann who supposedly launched the invasion WITHOUT government authorization. Backed it up with the historical parallel that after Hitler died, ordinary Germans helped neutralize the remaining Nazis — so "purging our own bad actors" is consistent with German national character.

Did a GLOBAL broadcast (not just to NL — crucial detail, so no one could claim ignorance) with:

• Forces ordered to halt
• Hoffmann "arrested"
• Trial at The Hague (not in Germany — submitting to international justice)
• Dutch investigators invited to participate
• Full reparations promised
• Emergency NATO summit requested in Paris

Phase 3: The recovery

• Preemptively dissolved my "Western Shield Command" to reduce visible threat
• Launched a "National Autonomy Program" framed as economic independence (totally not for military buildup, no sir)
• Withdrew from all Dutch territory
• Fast-forwarded a year

Phase 4: WHAT

The AI rolled out event after event:

• NATO Emergency Summit in Paris — France & UK "cautiously optimistic," only Poland/Baltics hardline
• ICC indicts Hoffmann
• Reparations agreement signed
• German military FULLY REINTEGRATED into NATO
• Sanctions lifted
• Hoffmann found guilty, life imprisonment
• Industrial production EXCEEDS pre-war levels
• New trade agreements with non-EU partners

And then the AI literally generated this:

This sounds like a victory screen in some game bruh. Like HOLY. Guess what? THIS IS MY FIRST TIME PLAYING THIS GAME.
