This could explain why people are surprised when they fail the Agoda assessment test?

This was written in the original email -

>"After completing the assessment, we will review your overall application and you will be notified whether you will proceed to the following rounds."

Looks like they check your profile properly only after the assessment test, and then if you get rejection, it may not be due to the assessment test itself.

Was this a known thing? I saw few posts with people surprised they are rejected hence posted this.

Some tips for future and observations from NZ Season 3 final week !!

  1. Breakfast order speaks a lot

After the recruitment, Keanu and Chloe enter the breakfast together in the beginning.

This is one of the production "hints" which has not yet made into the meta completely.

Whenever there is any big event (like recruitment/murder in plain sight), look at the people who enter the breakfast first.

It literally also happened with UK Season. When there was that traitors task to put people into the murder list by marking them on the family tree, next day the Traitors enter together at the beginning. Obviously coz the production wants them to have a private chat about it.

  1. Traitor's funny mistake

Why the hell Keanu kept saying "she is super smart" as a reason to banish someone.

Bruh that reason works inside the turret, not in the castle.

He says to Maruia - "Lets take out Violette coz she is super smart". Bruh really? Why not keep a super smart person when we have 40% Traitors in the group.

  1. Can i lie partially on the Truth podium

Seeing James go out, i had a thought

Can a Traitor lie partially on that truth podium when they are leaving

Could James say "I have always been the Traitor" insinuating (lying) that he was not recruited?

  1. Why did they keep calling her DB? Was she a thief? DB Cooper reference?

  2. Why the 1350$ prize again and again? Any reason?

Logic Game - Stock Market Trading

Alex trades in a security during a trading session across 5 hourly windows from 9 AM to 2 PM. Alex makes one buy and one sell trade (in that order) in each trading window. Alex starts and ends each trading window with no shares, so whatever was bought has to be sold within the window.

Profit or Loss is calculated as: (Selling price - Buying price) * No. of shares

Security price details for the session (in $): Open: 92.55, High: 108.90, Low: 83.35, Close: 98.80

  • Alex starts the session with 1000$. No additional margin/cash is available.
  • Alex trades only in whole number prices
  • Alex sells 15 shares at 90$ at 10:35 AM
  • Alex does the following trades in non-consecutive windows. The total profit/loss for these two windows is zero => (i) Sell 13 shares at 98$, (ii) Buy 7 shares at 98$.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. Which of the following statements could be true about the entire session?

(A) Alex does 4 trades at the price of 84$

(B) Alex does 4 trades at the price of 108$

(C) Alex does 4 trades at the price of 90$

(D) Alex does 3 trades at the price of 100$

(E) Alex does 3 trades at the price of 105$

  1. If Alex makes a loss in two trading windows, which of the following windows must he make a loss in?

(A) 9 AM to 10 AM

(B) 10 AM to 11 AM

(C) 11 AM to 12 PM

(D) 12 PM to 1 PM

(E) 1 PM to 2 PM

  1. Which of the following could be one of the trades Alex does during the day?

(A) Sell 13 shares at 9:45 AM

(B) Buy 15 shares at 10:45 AM

(C) Buy 10 shares at 11:30 AM

(D) Buy 20 shares at 12:30 PM

(E) Sell 7 shares at 1:30 PM

  1. If Alex trades the maximum possible number of shares in the entire session, which of the following is a complete and accurate list, any of which could be the number of shares bought in the entire session?

(A) 59,61

(B) 61,63

(C) 59,60,61

(D) 61,62,63

(E) 60,63,65

Trivia - Only two Survivor seasons where NONE of the cast members have their own Wikipedia page.

There are only 2 Survivor seasons where NONE of the cast members have their own Wikipedia page. Name the two seasons.

Even if you don't know, try to guess it. You can give upto 5 guesses.

I will later reply to your comment and tell how many of those 2 seasons you guessed correctly.

How many people are cheating in Logic, hands up please !!!

Compared to Math, looks like everyone is a genius in Logic !!

Doing 3 digit LCMs faster, and finding prime factorization of 2831 faster.

How many people are cheating, come on confess here !!

Saw post about Logic 1600 rating being difficult, here's the real reason !!

Looks like, Logic bots are much tougher than Math bots.

If you are at Math level 1600 and mapped to a 1600 level bot, that bot mostly tries to make you win. In other words, defeating the bot at same level is easier than defeating a human at same level.

Meanwhile, in Logic, the bot is solving 4 digit LCM problems in 5 seconds. It's almost impossible to beat the bot. While it's easier to beat a human of the same rating.

Another problem - Less people play logic compared to Math, so you would be mapped to more bots. And, keep on losing to them.

Did anyone notice this, do you agree?

Suggestions for Matiks app, share here

My suggestions:

  1. Please show win-loss record

  2. Please show percentile also. If my rank is 10000, I dont know out of how many. Percentile will be helpful.

  3. On homepage, at bottom, we should have tab for Profile and Leaderboard, especially Profile. We visit that profile page so often.

Having "Compete" and "Quests" at bottom is redundant. Both are same things (I guess), I never open any of them. I am guessing most people play Arena only. So having both at bottom is waste of space. One can be definitely removed, what say?

If I am a faithful, I would hide behind the sofa or curtains

Benefit #1 - Survive the first murder

Day 1 always there is a murder, but there may not be a banishment.

As a faithful, my prime objective on Day 1 is to survive murder.

Since i am hiding behind the sofa (couch) all day, when Traitors discuss in the night about the murder, they wont even remember my name, or even me.

Benefit #2 - Find all the Traitors at once

This you can do any day of the game.

I will find the most occupied rooms - like bar room for eg. and hide there behind the curtain or behind the couch for sometime.

Traitors come and talk to each other. You can listen everything hiding and you can find all the traitors at once.

This could be like the "Spy Shack" strategy from Survivor.

How to be a good Traitor who can never be uncovered.

  1. Defend people who are under suspicion

Biggest mistake which every Traitor makes is - If someone takes a name in front of them, they agree to it in a heartbeat.

I would fight back and say - NO, they cannot be a Traitor. Obviously, you cannot do it everytime, but you need to do in obvious situations.

Example - UK Season 4, Ross situation. In US Season 4, Michael Rapaport was an obvious faithful.

  1. Make others suspect you even when they completely believe you

If someone clears you of being a Traitor, remind them you could still be one.

Example - UK Season 4, there was a "library" theory that someone in the library 5 was a Traitor. Later, Fiona gets caught and then the theory is dropped. If I was Stephen, I would say NO, don't drop it, there could be more Traitors there.

  1. Guess the murder correctly at breakfast

UK Season 4, the two Traitors were great Traitors, but they were very obvious about one thing.

At breakfast, I saw Stephen guessing who goes out, and obviously he picks the person who is not murdered. Same with Rachel, she takes a name, and obviously that person is gonna walk in next.

Either don't play this prediction game, or if you do, then take the name of the person who is actually murdered.

  1. Playful jokes where you accept you are a Traitor

When the gong hits at night, everyone goes off to sleep. Make jokes like - "I am gonna murder you tonight".

In UK Season 4, when they are entering in the car for a mission, James says - "This car is for faithful only". Then Stephen should have said - "Dang it, I will go to the other one then"
