I feel too heavy, like I'm meant to be skinnier

For context I'm F19 and I'm 5'3 and currently 150 lbs. I know thats a pretty normal weight for many women my age. However, this has been the heaviest I've been in my entire life.

This is probably because I gained 10 pounds since my senior year of highschool to now after finishing my first year of college. I just feel heavy, like my body feels too heavy and like a sort of tiredness like I'm always carrying weight. And I realized I definitely get more exhausted then I used to doing simple things like walking up the stairs.

This is weird to me because in the mirror I still look relatively skinny but its obvious I have gained some weight in the past 2 years. I feel like it's sort of weird to say but I feel like my body is supposed to be skinny like <140 lbs. Because I know some people are my exact weight and are perfectly fit and healthy, like its their natural state. I feel like my body is not in it's natural state if that makes sense. Is this feeling usual?

I am not asking for medical advice.

What does "you don't look like you drink or smoke" mean?

For context im a women and currently 19, I'm a new hire at my work so I was just talking with another coworker who's been there longer just to get to know eachother. Today he asked me, "Do you drink or smoke" and I told him "No" and in response he said "Oh well, you don't look like you drink or smoke." What did he mean by this? I know sometimes I get mistaken for being younger than I am. But I don't know if I should be offended or not lmao.

Anyone know if any places are currently hiring?

I applied to little Caesars in person- who said theyre currently hiring- and called three times, each time they said they'll get back to me and never did. I also went to Carl's Jr since you have to apply in person, and they said they not currently hiring. I was recommended Montys Carwash bc apparently they were "desperate for people", got a phone interview, and got rejected the next day 😭 Anyone know any another place hiring?

USC Sophomore transfer looking for friends!!

Hi, I recently got admitted to USC as a sophmore transfer into Viterbi. Though, I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to commit yet, but more than likely I will. I'm from NorCal, specifically the Sacramento region. I'm going to be quite new the SoCal region and LA in general so I thought it would be a good idea to put myself out there since I dont know anyone in LA. I was just wondering if any other new admits or transfers wanted to connect or chat via discord or instagram!! If you're in the same situation as me, just want to talk, or be friends, feel free to DM me!! I'm really nice trust me!

I need a job desperately at a 19 year old w/o any experience

I've submitted over 100 online applications on indeed, I've used LinkedIn, and even applied through company websites. I've applied for almost every fast food places, restaurant(including the new ones like Yard House and Mendocino) and retail place through this way but none have ever gotten back to me. I called back McDonalds and they gave me a simple "the hiring manager will get back to you when they're ready."

Ive already applied for after school programs and the city of elk grove doesn't have any current availble entry level jobs.

I recently went in person to Carl's Jr to ask the manager if there were any open positions and they said no and to try again later. BTW I saw absolutely no one in there besides the manager.

I also called into a senior living establishment to be a receptionist and all they did was put down my name and number and said someone will get to me soon.

I've been applying since May and I've only gotten three interviews. This was early on in my job search so I was kind of picky with my availability so I can see why they never picked me. But now it's later into the summer and so now I know most places are already booked and full.

I don't know what to do, I need a job badly because I'm transferring to new college that is way more expensive and I don't want all the financial burden to be on my mom. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice?

Im scared to commit to USC because I know no one there

So for context, my mom is already not keen on the idea of me moving all the way to South central Los Angeles, especially since we live in northern CA so It's like a 6 hour drive. But she's letting me go despite her reluctance.

To add on, a lot of my friends go to the college I'm currently at. So I'd be moving away from them as well.

So my biggest currently issue is the fact I'm moving to an entirely new city and knowing absolutely no one there. My mom also shares this concern because she's worried if something happened to me, there's no relative or friend close to help me out.

To add on, I'm also not really familiar with housing/dorming situation as a sophomore transfer. So if I dont meeting anyone new, and I'll just be isolated in a city I'm unfamiliar in.

Like I'm fine with going out and trying to build new connections, but I just don't want to be that annoying person trying to force their way into a friend group. Especially since I heard USC is quite cliquey and as a sophomore I feel kind of behind on making friends since everyone already has there "group."

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice they can give?

Rejected from Davis and Irvine, but accepted in USC?

This is the most shocked I've been, but in a happy way. But, I'm just confused. When I first got rejected from Davis then Irvine. I was like, there's no way I'm getting into USC. And honestly, I genuinely only applied to USC from the hell of it.

But it was the only one got into it. Im genuinely shocked, and honestly confused on why?
