I'm getting Aug fever

I don't like boring Ars. I like the look of the Aug and always wanted one. I know this community is full of healthy minded people who will recommend I do the right thing. Should I buy one?

First things to do with new pocket 3?

Just ordered a pocket 3 through Amazon with the i3 and was wondering what must-dos need to be done. I will be using tailscale and another VPN and have web browsers open for server stuff. Not looking to game or edit video. Don't know if I should be messing with clean os installs or the wattage but let me know. Idc if touch screen doesn't function anymore btw just the track pad needs to for sure work. Thanks for the recommendations!

Discovery Plus download options

Long story short: kind of impossible to find Fast N loud right now, lots of dead torrents. I was gonna get a subscription for a month and gather all of the show from Discovery Plus but read up and saw it has drm now so you can't use a downloader anymore. I'm new to this particular route of piracy so was wondering what is recommended. Thanks!

Is this right for me?

I have a unraid nas at home and I'm on the road truck driver. I'm currently using my bulky gaming laptop (also a gamer) in order to do server stuff and sometimes I don't wanna take the giant thing out. On my phone the screen is so small it doesn't fully display the containers properly so I can't press okay or move or scroll down without constantly rotating my phone. Would this fully display the entire container properly (albeit a bit tiny) and allow me to use tailscale ? Thanks for the recommendation Edit cause didn't make sense cross post: gpd micro pc, found one local $300

Newbie first server

I am somewhat computer literate but never dived into ports and nas' and servers or Unraid. Spent an entire 2 days with a new DXP6800 PLUS and APC Back-ups PRO 1500 and finally got it up and running to how I like it. Its mainly a plex server with torrent capabilities in docker containers. Set up tailscale to access when im out on the road truck driving. Set up UPS to safely turn off my nas in case of power outage and can notify me via discord with warnings. 4tb nvme as a cache drive, 16gb ram and the stock 128gb to house the containers. I was so confused on how some of the shares and arrays behaved with eachother and I ended up deleted 2tb of my existing media lmao. But I had it mostly backed up on an external hdd so just moved it back. The experience has been a massive pain in the ass but im proud of what I have done. Now i can get the shows my girl has been wanting to watch. Though each show is like 300-500gb ;_;...

Ugreen 4800 plus vs pro

Goal: setup unraid and house my Plex server in docker with TBs of media. Maximum 10 family members watching at same time while also me remotely connecting to it to acquire more media while I'm traveling.

Is the plus enough or do I need more firepower?

Mini pc external drive question

I've been reading and searching up but haven't found a definitive answer. I have a bee link ser7 mini pc that I will be installing unraid on to host a media server with Plex. I would like a 4-8 bay hard drive enclosure to store all the media on. I keep seeing USB bad, and nas expensive and same results. I see people using a sata to nvme adapter and plugging in drives that way but I still don't know what enclosure works with that. At this point I'm thinking of getting a ugreen nas and running unraid on there. I just want reliability of the enclosure. Thank you for suggestions.

Remote access question

Sounds stupid but I also read troubleshooting and still confused. So gonna make this as easy as possible to try and get help for.

Just bought lifetime pass. Setup Plex on PC Windows 11 and created library and server with all of my ...LEGALLY obtained movies and shows. Invited family member who created their own account and can see my entire library but unable to actually watch anything, just infinite loading. Remote access says it's not working. Using Verizon hotspot currently as I'm on the road to connect my PC. I click retry on remote access test and it says online then goes back to offline after a couple of seconds. My next step is going to be to use VPN to port forward on proton VPN and use the VPN port on Plex settings. Any other suggestions I need to do or try? Barely bought Plex yesterday so still trying to get a hang of it. On my other computer using same hotspot, I can watch the shows and movies on it. So mainly just remote issue for now. Thanks for the help!

Launcher for trap/clay fun recommendations

I don't have a local trap or clay location but I do have a shooting range 10 minutes away that allows you to bring your own launcher to shoot. Nearest location is 50 minutes away and $15 a round for non members. I barely tried trap for the first time with my girlfriend and loved it and bought both of us CZ over under shotguns to shoot. I am looking at both the Caldwell Claycopter Surface to air and the Caldwell Claymore connect. They are pretty similar in price but have convenience of battery or voice activation with the app which is a plus for me. What would be better to invest in, if only 1 machine. Both have remotes and phone function but saw the Claymore has to be adjusted manually for making the clays go different directions or speed. So it can keep the same pattern which is a plus if you want it. The S-2-A copter can get adjustments randomized or set the same via the app without having to mess with it. Uses the clay copters instead of standard clays which I'm assuming are cheaper. Not sure how much easier or harder they are to see than the clays. I'm sure I'll have fun with either/or, but just wanna get a good first purchase. Thank you for your recommendations or advice.

Beginner shotgun recommendations

Edit: getting a lot of recommendations for the Citori. Any particular variant I should steer towards? Also how do I tell which variant is which as on the used market they labeling them only as citori but not the variant?

Did my research, but want opinions. Fitment is more important i understand that but this is more or less if they all fit the same on me. Would just like a tier list on what's worthwhile to buy and start out with for trap/skeet. Found a used CZ Drake 28" for $500 out the door as well but not sure if it's worth buying and will last a good while. I could get a used Citori or A400 Xcel for 1500-1600 as well. If it will last longer than me I don't mind paying the price. I just don't want to regret the first purchase. Are there more options im not aware of that are worth buying? Bonus if the gun can be used for duck hunting. But I know that's an entirely different ballpark. Thank you.

Mark IV accessory recommendations

I just picked up a Mark IV lite for 515 out the door as my entry into 22. I already have em ocl ti that I'm going throw on it. I would like to know the order to get aftermarket upgrades for it and which ones. The accurizing kit from volq is on my list. Heard many things from tandemkross as well. Not doing competition, just plinking. Which are the must have quality of life upgrades I should get? Thanks in advance.

Black mamba ammo recommendations

Going to pick up a 3" mamba. My girlfriend says size doesn't matter 🤧. Anyways gonna run a ocl Suppressor on it and was hoping someone had insight on what ammo brands or model to stay away from or is highly recommended. Gonna be plinking so cheaper the better. I know cci is popular but there are many variants. Thank you for your help.

Easy to maintain pistol host?

Gonna get a zeroed 22 and am going to throw on a pistol to plink with. I will not be doing any competition with it. I was going to get the Ruger Mark IV lite but was told there is a non replaceable part and I should go a different model. Would the tx22 competition or Mark IV tactical be better or is there a different route? I care more about being able to fix or replace parts. Thanks for recommendation. Lgs has the tx22 comp for 632.99

Mod cables question

Quick question. I think my PSU is pooping after a few years. I currently have green mod cables that are spliced for bunch of fans. Can I buy the exact same brand and model, wattage of the PSU to replace without swapping out the cables? I know rule of thumb is to use new ones, but these weren't OEM cables to begin with so not sure on that. Thanks!
