Camping at Swinging Bridge Lake Marina??

Has anyone done this? I’m not talking about the actual campground. I’m thinking of taking my boat there and camping on the lake overnight. I called them and they basically told me they can’t say I can or cannot, but people do it

What happened to Alamo? :(

It seems like they’re cutting corners now. The downtown Brooklyn location got rid of all menus and now you have to be on your phone to order food. It doesn’t make any sense. Also, the theater is not as clean as before and the staff is RUDE as hell!

The last few times I was there people were spazzing out on employees. While that’s not acceptable, it must have been for a reason because there’s been an angry customer the last three times I was there in the past 2 months.

Also, what happened to all the food? I feel like they removed items from the menu.

I used to love Alamo. I went to the FiDi location for a Back to The Future showing and they gave us free goodies. It just doesn’t seem the same anymore ….

Any men’s soccer leagues in Mineola area?

Hi all ,

I’m work in Mineola and live in Brooklyn but I’m wondering if there are any men’s soccer leagues I can join after work?

Looking to practice with a soccer team

Hi everyone,

I’m a 34 year old male looking to train with a soccer team. I was a decent player in my day and played some college ball. But I’m kind of skinny fat now and playing footy is the only way I can get myself to work out.

Anyone know how I can train with an organized team? Like a pre season or a community college team maybe ? Thanks

Waterproofing new tent?

Hi everyone,

I just upgraded to a KNUO 12x12 inflatable tent. We had their 10x10 before, which was great quality, but we packed it up wet and got mold inside.

Now, with the new tent, I’m considering spraying Nikwax Tent & Gear Solarproof. It says it helps with UV and water protection.

Is it worth treating a brand-new tent right away?
