Isn't it ironic Muslims say Christianity is corrupted and it always gets updated but at the same time they try to update and sugarcoat Islam 😭?

This doesn't really apply to Muslims who just take the Quran and hadiths as they are, but the Muslims who try to play Arabic mental gymnastics to change meaning of verses , deny authentic hadiths , say Aisha was actually 19 years old etc, by this logic Islam was also corrupted for centuries and it message was twisted and it prophet was defiled as pedophile and a warlord ? And his laws/rules were twisted after he supposedly came to deliver the last message and correct the previous corrupted religions (Christianity and Judaism)

'Silence of virgin girl can be treated as consent': Taliban formally recognises child marriage with special rules in Afghanistan

-This is based on a clear authentic Hadith "I asked the Prophet, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Should the women be asked for their consent to their marriage?" He said, "Yes." I said, "A virgin, if asked, feels shy and keeps quiet." He said, "Her silence means her consent."

-Sahih al-Bukhari 6946

You can literally link the majority of things the Taliban is doing to women back to Islam but you'll have people swearing that Taliban has nothing to do with Islam and it's just culture or whatever other reason 🤓

This rule was made based on an authentic Hadith but sure taliban has nothing to do with Islam

You can literally link most things taliban is doing to women back to Islam and Islamic scripture yet people would look you dead in the eye and tell you it's culture and it has nothing to do with Islam, my heart breaks for them genuinely what a nightmare being a woman in Afghanistan 💔

I'm sorry do these people not read Quran?

-They either don't read it or just lie to polish Islam , this woman claims Quran never mentions women obeying their husbands and that the only time it's mentioned it refers to obedience to God "so righteous women are devoutly obedient" and according to her this refers to god apparently but ok we will let this fly but can you finish the verse ? The verse goes on to say "So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in \[the husband’s\] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those \[wives\] from whom you fear arrogance – \[first\] advise them; \[then if they persist\], forsake them in bed; and \[finally\], strike them. But if they OBEY YOU \[once more\], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand"

-allah literally gives men a tutorial to discipline (🤮) disobedient women and tells them if they OBEY YOU again then seek no means against them , even if you want to cope and change the meaning of "strike" here and claim it actually means distancing yourself it just makes it slightly better but the connotation is still horrendous God is still giving men a tutorial to make women obey them, can a woman do this if she feared arrogance from her husband and want to make him obey ? No lmao in fact if she actually tried "distancing herself and forsaking his bed " angels will curse her and it's explicitly forbidden:

-The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If a man Invites his wife to sleep with him and she refuses to come to him, then the angels send their curses on her till morning."

-Sahih al-Bukhari 5193

I'd really love to see a historically accurate series about hurrem and Suleiman

No shade to magnificent century it's a beautiful show however I'd love to see a series where Suleiman's reign and life are portrayed accurately and his accomplishments emphasized , he was one of the greatest ottoman rulers, he revolutionized the empire by codifying a comprehensive legal system (kanun), creating a cultural "Golden Age" in art and architecture and he also expanded the empire , his relationship with hurrem was monogamous and he really respected and loved her, hurrem was the first woman to ever move into Topkapi, which was previously only a residence for the sultan and his male officials and inaugurated the sultanate of women and was involved in politics along with her husband.

Their daughter Mihrimah sultan too she was a great woman who was well educated and accompanied her father on campaigns unlike many Ottoman princesses who lived in seclusion, she encouraged her father to embark on a campaign to Malta for which she had 400 galleys built at her own expense , and acted as advisor to her father and then her brother selim.

I'd really love seeing this it would be such a good show showcasing the achievements and life of Suleiman accurately and also showcase the power of hurrem and Mihrimah, they're both such important figures in women's history.

Again no shade but magnificent century is loosely based on history, made Suleiman seem like a womanizer and hurrem's power revolved on her terrorizing women who slept with the sultan.
