My experiences of Nallapadu Goat Market

Recent ga YouTube lo Guntur Nallapadu Mutton Market gurinchi chaala videos choosanu. Market atmosphere, goats, food, especially Mandi gurinchi chaala hype undi.
So, nenu kuda vlog cheddam ani vellanu.

Frank ga cheppalante, nenu expect chesina experience kaadu.
Munduga Reddy Mandi gurinchi cheppali.
Personally, naaku adi chaala overhyped anipinchindi. Bayata places nunchi vachche vallaki nachutundemo, kaani Guntur vaallaki especially antha special ga anipinchadu ani naa feeling.
Main problem enti ante spice.
Manam Guntur vaallam, manaki spice ante vere level expectations untayi. Kaani naaku assalu spicy ga anipinchaledu. Maybe vallaki wider audience ni cater cheyyali ani mild ga chestunnaremo, kaani personally hype ki taggattu ledu ani anipinchindi.

Kaani honestly, market lo nenu choosina taruvatha Reddy Mandi review anedi chaala chinna topic aipoyindi.

Market lo tirugutunte oka strange thing observe chesanu.
Goats tho oka auto leda vehicle vastunte, konthamandi sudden ga parigettukuntu velli, vehicle proper ga aagakamunde dani meedaki jump chestunnaru. Literal ga vaalla lives risk chestunnaru.

Nenu oka person ni direct ga adiganu:
“Enduku ila moving vehicle meedaki jump chestunnav? Enduku life risk chestunnav?”
Atanu cheppindi enti ante, oka particular special quality goat kosam choostunnanu ani. Market lopaliki vellipoyaka dorakadam kastam avuthundi, mundu vehicle daggare identify chesthe teesukovachu ani cheppadu. Naaku adi nammabuddi kaaledu.

Kaani later, market lo unna inkoka person tho maatladinappudu aayana chepperu, konthamandi ila vehicles meedaki ekkedi travel lo chanipoyina goats unnaya ani check cheyyadaniki ani.

According to him, travel chestunnappudu edaina goat chanipothe, first evaru identify chestaro vaallu danini claim chesi chaala takkuva price ki—sometimes around ₹500 ki—teesukuntaru.

Tarvatha aa meat ni ekkado sell chestaru ani.
First nenu idi assalu nammaledu.
Moving vehicle meedaki ekkadam, life risk cheyyadam, adi kuda chanipoyina goat kosama?
Assalu nammaleni matter anipinchindi.
Kaani konchem sepu tarvatha nenu naa kallatho oka incident choosanu.

Oka person already chanipoyina goat ni handle chestunnadu. Atanu goat throat daggara cut chesi blood vastunda ani check chestunnattu anipinchindi. Kaani goat already dead. Blood kuda raaledu.

Tarvatha first intestines teesadu. Avi ekkadiko teesukelli sell chesadu. Remaining carcass matram akkade vadilesadu. Chaala sepu. Nenu pakkane undi observe chestunna. Aa goat carcass ala open ga padey undi. House flies motham dani meeda unnayi. Flies crawl avuthu unnayi. At least oka hour varaku alaane undi.

Tarvatha aa person malli vachi carcass teesukoni city side velladu. So nenu konchem distance varaku follow chesanu.
Eventually city lopaliki vellaka nenu track pogottukunna.
Aa goat final ga ekkadiki vellindo naaku teliyadu.
Kaani adhe most disturbing part.

Market lo koorchuni unna inkoka person tho maatladinappudu, atanu inkoka interesting matter cheppadu.

Ila cheap ga dorikina meat ni Muslim markets leda Muslim-owned shops lo sell cheyyadam comparatively easy ani.

Atanu cheppina reason enti ante, Muslim seller sell chestunnadu kabatti, leda halal ani cheptunnadu kabatti, customers source gurinchi antha question cheyyakunda trust chese possibility untundi ani.
Inko side restaurant owner ki normal market price kanna chaala takkuva rate ki meat offer chesthe, vaadiki kuda easy ga deal avuthundi.

Idi naaku chaala concerning ga anipinchindi.
Personally, naaku anipinchindi Muslim consumers kuda ee matter lo inka careful ga undali. Halal or Muslim owner annadi important kaadu. Valla standards important.

Food safety issue oka side.
Kaani nannu inka ekkuva disturb chesindi inkoka matter.
Aa people moving autos meedaki jump chestunnaru.
Okkasari alochinchandi.
Oka person few hundred rupees kosam running auto leda lorry meedaki jump cheyyadaniki ready ga unnadu.
Fall ayithe?
Vehicle kindha padithe?
Serious injury avvachu. Life kuda poye chance undi.
Kaani still chestunnaru.
Enduku?
Naaku anipinchindi idi poverty gurinchi kuda chaala cheptundi.
₹500 leda konni vandala rupayalu kosam evaraina tana life ni risk chestunnadu ante, aa money vaallaki entha important ga undalo alochinchandi.
Manam development, real estate rates, growth, business opportunities ani maatladukuntam.
Kaani mana pakkane inkoka reality undi.
Konni vandala rupayala kosam people literally lives risk chestunnaru.
Adi choosi naaku genuine ga baadha anipinchindi.
Poverty desperation ni explain cheyyachu.
Kaani unfortunately unsafe food ni safe cheyyaledu.
Oka person survival kosam try chestunnadu.
Kaani inkoka person teliyakunda aa meat tini health risk face cheyyachu.
Iddaru victims laane anipistaru, different ways lo.

Oka Positive Thing: Subhani Hotel
Aa dead goat ni city side teesukeltunnappudu, nenu konchem distance varaku follow chesanu.
Route lo Subhani Hotel vachindi.
Guntur lo Subhani ante oka landmark.
Nallapadu Market ki kuda chaala daggarlo untundi.
Appudu around 6 PM untundi. Hotel open ga undi, business kuda nadustundi.
Cheap meat konali anukune hotel ki, literally market pakkane available undi.
Oka moment naaku genuine ga doubt vachindi.
Ee goat ni Subhani ki teesukeltunnada?
Kaani thankfully, atanu akkada aagaledu.
In fact, nenu market lo unna time motham observe chesina daantlo, okka dead goat kuda Subhani Hotel ki velladam nenu choodaledu.
Honestly, adi naaku happy ga anipinchindi.
Subhani Hotel Guntur lo decades nunchi oka brand image build chesindi.
Personally evari food preferences vaallaki untayi.
Kaani credit ivvalsina place lo ivvali.
Market ki antha close ga unnappatiki, cheap meat easy ga dorike situation unnappatiki, nenu observe chesina varaku Subhani ilanti practice ni encourage cheyyatledu ani anipinchindi.
And that genuinely made me respect the brand more.
Cheap ga dorukutundi kabatti quality compromise cheyyakunda, vaalla reputation maintain chestunnaru ani naa observation.

The prisoner escaped and started attacking my wall paper

My Guinea pigs has a weird habit whenever during floor time. No point wherever I keep the pee pads, they generally pee by going below them or by going somewhere all new together but never on the pee pads. I kept multiple hide spots, but when they want to pee, they go to the same corner and go below pee pads and peeing there.

They are soaking in their urine too long giving their back coat a yellowish color. How can I prevent it?

The habit is so strong these days they are escaping the cage or shouting me to take out of the cage so that they can pee outside.

I saw these kind of explanation in religious institutions where they used to say you need to understand what god said this way. Are they under the illusion Godiji God?

They Want to Control Your Thoughts Now

Never in my life did I think I would see something like this on Independence Day.
August 15 is supposed to be about freedom — freedom from oppression, freedom to speak, freedom to think, and freedom to disagree.
And on the very stage that represents that freedom — the Red Fort — the Prime Minister chose to talk about “dimaagi Naxals” and how they need to be “identified and isolated.”
Honestly, I was deeply saddened by this.
Because this isn’t just another political statement.
When a government starts categorising people based on their thoughts and political ideology, and talks about identifying and isolating them, we should all be worried.
These are not democratic tendencies.
These are authoritarian and fascist tendencies.
Fascism doesn’t begin with someone suddenly declaring themselves a dictator. It begins with creating an “us versus them”, labelling certain people as enemies, demonising dissent, and gradually making society believe that disagreement itself is dangerous.
And that’s exactly the direction I feel India is increasingly moving towards.
You don’t have to agree with the government.
You don’t have to agree with Modi.
You don’t have to agree with me.
That’s democracy.
The moment a government starts deciding which thoughts are acceptable and which people need to be “isolated” because of those thoughts, we have a serious problem.
And what makes this even more painful is that it was said from the Red Fort on Independence Day.
A place that should represent our freedom.
A day that should remind us of the price people paid for that freedom.
Instead, we are hearing warnings about people who supposedly have the “wrong” thoughts.
I don’t want an India where citizens are afraid of expressing political opinions.
I don’t want an India where criticism is treated as disloyalty.
I don’t want an India where political opponents are turned into enemies.
And I certainly don’t want an India where independent thought itself becomes something the government wants to control.
But this is where I think we need to go beyond just one statement and look at the larger pattern.
I genuinely want to ask the people defending this:
Would you have been equally comfortable if previous governments had used the same logic against people who supported your ideology?
Imagine an earlier government saying:
“These people have dangerous political thoughts. Identify them. Isolate them. Keep them away from institutions.”
Would you have called that democratic?
Would you have defended it?
Probably not.
So why should it become acceptable simply because your preferred leader is saying it?
This is how political echo chambers are created.
We keep hearing only what confirms what we already believe. We start seeing everyone outside our ideological bubble as an enemy. We stop questioning our own side and start justifying everything our side does.
And that is dangerous.
History has shown us where this kind of politics can lead. Nazi Germany did not begin with the worst atrocities overnight. It involved propaganda, dehumanising political opponents, creating enemies, demanding ideological conformity and gradually normalising authoritarianism.
I am not saying India is Nazi Germany.
I am saying we should recognise dangerous tendencies before they become normalised.
Because fascism doesn’t need to arrive wearing a uniform and announcing itself.
It can slowly enter through the language we normalise.
“Those people are the enemy.”
“They need to be isolated.”
“They are dangerous because of what they believe.”
“Don’t listen to them.”
“Anyone who criticises us is against the country.”
Once society accepts that logic, democracy becomes weaker.
And the irony is that the people cheering this on today may be the very people complaining tomorrow when a different government uses the same machinery against them.
Power changes hands.
Your ideology may be in power today. It may not be tomorrow.
That’s why democratic principles cannot depend on which party is ruling.
I don’t want a government that protects only people who agree with it.
I want a government that protects even the people who hate its policies, criticise its leaders and vote against it.
Because that’s what democracy is supposed to do.
And that’s why hearing this kind of rhetoric from the Red Fort on Independence Day genuinely scares and saddens me.
We should be celebrating our freedom to think.
Instead, we’re slowly normalising the idea that some thoughts — and the people who hold them — need to be identified and isolated.
You cannot celebrate independence while becoming uncomfortable with independent thought.
India’s independence means nothing if Indians are no longer free to think for themselves.

Anyone from India? Where are you getting all your bedding and accessories from?

It all started as a gift for my niece. She’s just five years old and had been obsessed with guinea pigs after watching them on YouTube. She really, really wanted one, so I got her two.
Sadly, one of them passed away due to a stroke. Since the female was left alone, I decided she needed some friends, so I got two more — one female and one male.
And here they are! ❤️🐹
🐹 Cupcake — the guy
🐹 Sweetie — the white one
🐹 Pinky — the gray one
Yes, the names sound a little… amateurish. 😂 But that’s because they were named by my five-year-old niece, so I have absolutely no authority to change them!
The funny part is, this started as her gift, but somehow I’ve ended up spending more time with them than I spend with myself. 😭
Now, everywhere I go, I’m thinking:
“Will this work for my guinea pigs?”
“Can they eat this?”
“Is this safe for them?”
“Should I get this for their cage?”
And now… I’m planning to get two more! 🤦‍♂️😂
This time, I’m thinking of getting one more male and one female, and I’m particularly interested in Teddy/Teddy Bear guinea pigs.
If you have any suggestions on breeds, care, or anything I should know before getting two more, I’m all ears!
And most importantly…
How would you rate my guinea pigs? 🐹❤️
P.S. At this point, I’m pretty sure I don’t own guinea pigs. The guinea pigs own me. 😂
