I've Got an Idea: The Visionary Dies in the Middle of the Story

The Visionary has a premonition in which they see everyone dying, with themselves being the last to die → They manage to save some of the people from the premonition → Throughout the story, the Visionary and their friends try to save the other survivors from Death's design → Half of them are saved, while the other half aren't → This puts the Visionary next in line → But the Visionary can't escape Death → The cycle of deaths begins anew → The remaining survivors try to escape Death until the end of the story

Dennis is not a bad man

I’ve noticed that many FD fans unfairly hate Dennis, and I really don’t understand why. When the bridge started to collapse, he warned everyone to get off the bus, and judging by his speech at the funeral, he really cared about people. The only bad thing he did was mispronounce Sam’s name and forget about Isaac, but to be fair, Isaac was an asshole, so it was easy to forget about him.

[Personal favourite trope] Russian characters who aren’t villains

It annoys me that most Russian characters are villains, so Russian viewers can’t associate anyone to themselves or simply be happy that some cool characters are Russian, just like they are

– Ekaterina Golovkina (Life): a Russian cosmonaut and captain of the ISS >!who sacrificed herself to save her crew and the Earth!<;
– Cosmo the Spacedog (Guardians of the Galaxy): Cosmo was a normal dog sent into orbit by the Soviet Union during the space race and got exposed by cosmic radiation that granted her powerful psychic abilities—including telekinesis and telepathy—along with an extended lifespan. She speaks with a Russian accent, lol (pleeeease, don’t tell me that dog can’t be Russian)

This dude is an absolute monster

This guy is a Russian-speaking Minecraft YouTuber from Estonia. Recently, he was the subject of several exposés that revealed his true colors and his terrible actions.

– He discussed his online girlfriend's appearance with third parties, describing her as unattractive, overweight, and with an "unattractive skull shape”;
– He doxxed two people: one for nuking his discord server, the other for reuploading his song, which he is ashamed of.
– He actively copyright strike videos that expose him;
– He stole the channel from a YouTuber who exposed him. And wrote an apology on his behalf;
– He actively mentally abused and stalked his girlfriend. After his girlfriend started drawing NSFW art, he considered it cheating, she tried to talk to him, but after he ignored her, she stopped talking to him too. After their breakup, he publicly bullied her, called her a slut, and shared details of their relationship with the public, and even recorded a diss track about her. Due to the harassment from his fans, his girlfriend closed her social media accounts. He was telling her cousin and friends she was a slut. During his streams, he claimed that he was innocent and that the problems were mostly her fault, while also collecting money. why? – Of course, to go to the city to visit his ex-online girlfriend, stand outside her door, and talk to her face-to-face; – He told a YouTuber with suicidal thoughts to kill himself because he called him stupid;
– Not so long ago he was caught talking to 16 and 14 year old girls, showing them porn, talking lewd things, asking them to send him nudes (and they did it);
– And he doesn't admit his own mistakes and constantly spreads misinformation about people who cross his path, sometimes even sharing fake stories (he even accused his ex-friend of pedophilia, because he was messing with him);
– And he continues to do very bad things.

Just rest assured, THIS IS NOT ALL.
I haven’t told you yet how he flirts with every girl he can talk to.
I haven’t told you how he leaks other people usernames in his Telegram channel.
I haven’t told you how he talked lustfully to a 12‑year‑old in the voice chat WHILE I WAS WRITING THIS POST.
I haven’t told you how he defended a rapist.
AND THERE’S SO MUCH MORE — so much that I simply can’t fit it all into one post, but it’s as if it doesn’t matter anyway, let’s agree — it won’t change anything in the overall picture.

The movie “Looper” (2012) contains THREE plot holes within a SINGLE storyline, but what’s even worse is that two of those plot holes were created as a result of trying to explain one plot hole

The movie “Looper” tells the story of “Loopers” assassins hired by a syndicate to kill victims sent back in time by the syndicate from the future (so as not to leave any evidence in their present).
The main character’s best friend Seth is hired to kill his older self, but he lets him go. Now the Loopers need to capture both Seths, the old one and the young one, and finish them off. Loopers capture the young Seth, and in order to track down the old Seth, they gradually cut off the young one’s limbs, which then disappear from the old Seth, and after some time, he’s finally caught and killed.
So… let’s go!:

  1. Why didn’t Loopers just finish off the young Seth?: If everything that happens to the young Set reflects on the old one, then why couldn’t they just shoot the young one, and the old one would disappear? This can be explained by the fact that Loopers simply don’t want to create time paradoxes, but this “explanation” leads to another plot hole.
  2. Why did Loopers cut off the young Seth’s limbs if they didn’t want to create time paradoxes?: the absence of limbs creates no fewer paradoxes than death. AND THIS ALSO LEADS TO A PLOT HOLE.
  3. Why didn’t cutting off the limbs create paradoxes?: If Seth had no limbs, he would be confined to a bed and would hardly be able to cross paths with the syndicate in such a state. But even if we assume that this is possible – how, when the old Seth lost his limbs, did he remain in the same place? – after all, if Seth without limbs would have covered much less distance than Seth with limbs.

Of course, almost no fictional work is free of plot holes, especially when it comes to the time‑travel genre. But If you’re creating a movie with a particularly difficult genre, like time-travelling, you need to keep an eye on plot holes, ESPECIALLY FREQUENTLY. But the fact that there are three plot holes in just one storyline (and I haven’t even mentioned all the other plot holes of this movie) already shows how little the authors cared.

EDIT: Okay, most commentators have said that the two plot holes are explained by the rules set by the movie itself. But even if we assume that this is possible, the first plot hole still remains a question: why didn’t Loopers kill the young Seth if everything that happens to the young one reflects on the old one? – this is that rare case when the movie breaks the rules it itself established, turning the plot into a tangle of contradictions.

Seann William Scott would have been a better fit for the role of Eddie Brock/Venom in Spider-Man 3 (2007)

He was quite muscular and tall (5’11”), which matches the canon Eddie Brock and Venom appearance

Can we talk about how creepy is the concept of proxies?

Just imagine that you’re being stalked and driven crazy by a tall, slender entity. And then some lunatics in masks join in, who apparently are in cahoots with it. And if you’re unsure whether the entity can hurt you physically, then there’s no room for doubt when it comes to real people.

But what’s even worse is what the proxies themselves have to go through. Getting your mind broken into becoming a ruthless stalker-killer with no emotions or feelings is actually terrifying.

Why didn’t time cops arrest Einstein?

Shleemypants wanted to arrest Rick, but Rick, Summer, and Morty defeat him. Later, Shleemypants and his colleague, mistaking Einstein for Rick, beat him up and leave. But why didn’t they arrest him, as they had planned?

Shower thought: technically Toby has two dads

Considering that Tim and Brian are about 10 years older than Toby, they probably have a lot to teach him, so they're like parent figures for him.

P.S. for every, uhm…. “sensitive” users, don’t worry, it’s just a satire.

Мне одному не понравился S.T.A.L.K.E.R.?

Ничего не имею против этой франшизы и уж тем более её фанатов, это лишь моё субъективное мнение. Лично мне она показалась скучной и не особо интересной, но скорее всего это связано с моим ужасным настроением в последнее время.

Примечание 1: Играл я в «S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Тень Чернобыля»;
Примечание 2: К лору и атмосфере игры вопросов нет.

R/teenagers users when they meet an actual teenager and not another pedo on their sub

I have nothing against r/teenagers (and their views), but even their users admit that this is true. I can only wish them a good luck with this issue!
