ik most of them are just uninspired and just consisted in removing the face, but it was fun to do
(i am playing on v 1.1 so it may have been changed, idrk) is there a way to use the dex nav inside the frosslass cavern ? cuz i thought about using to first meet pokemons without trying to catch them, then find them later more easily but it doesn't seem to work in the cavern even after i used flash (also why does laprass have to be so hard to find like idk how long i had to wait to even find one)
the safari park started selling merch or smt idk
in the first picture, i just finished "painting" a smiley on the outside, but you can see in the 2nd picture that it only appears on the inside
in the 3rd picture i included the unwrapped uvs, don't judge the topology pls its my 1st model ever
i'd like to fix that instead of having to paint on the inside to get the expected result on the outside
also if anyone knows if i can have uvs shown above the texture image on the left while in texture paint mode i'd like to know how to do that (that isn't as important as the first question, but i'd still like to know)
so i remade the model for sunkern with a different direction for the topology, but i still relied on the symmetry modifier, and now i wanted to paint it but for that it seems that i need to "uv unwrap" it and when i do it i first get the rectangles and triangles looking clean on the left sides, but i also get 3 vertices aligned on the right which turn out to be 2 parts of the mesh that are overlapping, i mean it's probably not gonna be such a big problem in this case since those areas are just plain yellow, but i'd like to know how to prevent this from happening again/why it happened in the first place
OP ACKNOWLEDGING IT LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO ANOTHER POST MADE NOT TOO LONG AGO AND ACCEPTING DEATH PENALTY IF THE POST BREAKS RULE 3
basically i'm trying to make sunkern, but it's the first model i tried to make on my own and i'm not too sure on how to make the spikes on the top of its head look clean like on that reference, i used a symmetry modifier since that seemed simpler, but i'm still kinda stuck on how to do it (also i plan to make the model smooth, but when i use the subdivision modifier it gets shrunk down a lot (or at least too much for me) so i don't know how to solve that either)
basically i'm trying to make an action plate for a gunpla with a hole in it so that i can attach an articulated arm to it, so i wanted to first print a test plate with a grid of holes with slightly varying sizes so that i can see what diameter i prefer to use so that the plastic piece is held tightly enough to not fall if i accidentally move it, but still lose (loose? idk) enough so that i can put it in and out by hand, how could i make that grid of holes with a constant diameter offset between a hole and the next one ?
or at least it's what i assume it is called, i'm using a manual which tells me to click on a button to go back to the 3d view but i can't find it
