I just finished the first ever Sentry run by Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee. Maybe one of the best comics I've read. I like seeing what the Thunderbolts movie adapted with Void.

This is secretly one of the best Fantastic Four stories. The way it recreates the silver age Jack Kirby art is also perfect.

It's just such an incredible Ben Grimm story, having Ben join Monster Island as that's the only place he thinks a "freak" like him can be accepted.

It's such a beautiful story, I love the ending when >!Ben joins the FF again.!<

Genuinely made me tear up.

I have no idea why I never see anyone talk about this issue. It's the one right after John Byrne's run and as acclaimed as that run is, I think I prefer this over the majority of that run.

Like it's just a lot more emotional than some of Byrne's run.

I think every FF fan should read this issue, it's so damn good. It even works well as a standalone, although you would get more out of it if you've read Byrne's run.

If you're someone that headcanons Moleman as being bisexual for some reason, then this issue has him being surrounded by holograms of beautiful women and handsome men. So like, I guess there's that too. Neat!

The cover and artwork right at the beginning are both so gorgeous too.

Since Schaff didn't recommend an obscure animated movie in his new video, I'm curious if anyone here knows any good obscure films with good villains.

I think me enjoying the villain in The Boy and the Beast is a hot take, but I genuinely just love everything about that movie lol

I just read through Amazing Mary Jane and I really loved it! I thought Unbelieveable Gwenpool was my favourite Marvel comic with a female lead, but I genuinely thought this was equally as good!

My only problem came in how it ended on a cliffhanger, I really want to know what happened next.

I don't know why the comic didn't do well, were people just not hungry for a MJ comic? I think she's probably my favourite female character in comics (idk, I love Gwenpool, Spiderling and Wonder Woman too), so her leading such a great series made me happy.

I don't read modern ASM, but I'll say her characterization is especially good for this era.

She's just so strong and beautiful, she's a real inspiration to me. I really hope I can be just like her some day. 🩷

Scott said this in his newest video so I thought I'd answer it.

Elline's one of my fave Kirby characters! I thought her story about her friendship with Claycia drifting apart due to Dark Crafter was really sweet and well told! Like, with some modern Kirby stories, you have to go digging to really understand them, but Rainbow Curse's was very clear and that's great! I wish more Kirby stories were just told in the game outside of pause descriptions!

Her design is also goated and very cute. 🩷

Will say though, while I love Rainbow Curse (it's probably my favourite Wii U game and I think I've beaten it three times), I will admit that it took me a second to think of something I love about the game besides the visuals and music haha 😅
