Recently thrifted these Jordans (“”) but I’m unsure if they’re real or dupes or what kind of shoe they even are, nothing comes up when I look for similar ones (it’s only letting me post one pic of them, idk how to get around that). Also worth noting they have a sort of iridescent shine that doesn’t show up in pictures
Hi I’m trying to remember the name of the classic movie featuring I think 2 men traveling (?) together or on some sort of mission (but not like a spy one it’s giving cowboy more) and one of them has a mental disability but I believe is treated kindly throughout the movie (might be wrong about that) but near the end there’s this odd example of a “mercy killing” and his travel partner tells him to turn around and look at like the ants in the dirt or the water or think happy thoughts, some distraction, and then shoots him. Theres also a tumblr blurb based on it that’s like “wife look how high I can jump” and the wife is like show me your biggest jump buddy then shoots him 😭
Do anyone else’s parents like to tell their kids about how if they do something that in any way disrespects them (raising voice, dressing in a non-approved way, talking back, correcting them on a topic) that they will end up alone and have no friends/love/good things/money in their future as punishment/karma ?? Is there like a term for this tactic or a phenomenon or reason for it??
Hello, recently my boyfriend of two years has let me know that he no longer believes in God (I am Christian and he is now agnostic), we decided to take some time apart to think about things seeing as in the Bible there’s a lot of verses about how this will cause tension and we do want kids in the future but aren’t super sure on how to compromise on how we raise them. Can anyone here in an abrahamic religion with someone non-religious/spiritual give some advice on how to successfully go about loving and understanding each others way of life?
I am a progressive Christian, and my long term boyfriend also seemed to be so until a little bit ago when he let me know he no longer believed in God. I have respect for his beliefs and we have otherwise pretty similar morals and political views (both leftists except for some differences in belief for example I am more inclined to believe that political violence is unnecessary whereas he thinks it is and things like that) but in the future we both definitely want kids. This is where I’ve been considering breaking up because I’m unsure if I would feel fulfilled having to argue and navigate how we would raise them. If anyone is here in an interfaith relationship with kids or knows someone in this situation I would love to hear about the good and the bad and any advice or regrets.
My loving boyfriend of 2 years who I’ll call TC for the sake of privacy has always loved God, but recently he said he no longer believes and doesn’t want to be a Christian anymore, and that this is a decision he has made and doesn’t believe it will change ever. I pray he reconciles with God or that God speaks to him, and guidance on what I should do right now, as of right now I have left him but it breaks my heart and it broke his too. I miss him deeply
My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up! I want to get a diffuser for him at Ulta, although he has more wavy/straight hair, when he styles it and uses a diffuser he really likes the volume and the way it looks. He can’t have mine (Shark styling tool) and he’s also due for a new hairdryer; he’s hinted that he wants one with a cold air setting as well (he likes drying his hair with cold air for some reason, it usually does not affect the results on his hair) does anyone have any recommendations for hairdryers that have cold air settings and a diffusing attachment included/ apart of the hair dryer at Ulta ?
