What, again!?

Hello all, yep back to complaining again after having a laugh on yet another rejection letter.

Today though, this is about the medical profession saying I have shown no evidence of lower or upper limbs conditions.

Even though I have sent letters to them from my Rheumatology specialist stating and I quote "Diagnosis = 1. Psoriatic Arthritis with bilateral active sacroilitis, MRI 2026.

  1. Degenerative disease cervical and lumbar spine, MRI 2026.

  2. Psoriatic Arthritis extreme swelling on right knee.

  3. PSA on both hands, tips of both thumbs, evidence of PSA on multiple joints and ligaments on left hand.

  4. Discolouration of fingers nails on hands and feet showing positive signs of severe PSA, middle right toe (sausage toe)

But, apparently no evidence, when it's right there in front of them, in black and white, but according to the examiner, now I can walk over 200 metres because they said so( last report they said I couldn'twalk nore than 50 metres but hey, they must be miracle workers if they can predict i can walk now!), my planning and following is simply irrelevant, because they said so, and now even with proof, apparently irrelevant.

And to put the cherry on the cake, they have decided to extend my PIP to 2032, but sure, I'm in perfect health though according to whoever looked at the paper work so let's extend the claim 🙄 (talk about Irony!)

So, how does an examiner come up with such remarks? Love to hear from the experts on this?

What to choose?

Thinking about getting another Creality 3D printer as I had send back the Flashforge as nothing connected.

Hated using my laptop for slicing, prefer the actual Creality Cloud for slicing as I had no issues using this slicer on my Ender V3 KE.

Anyway, I quite liked the enclosure of the Flashforge and the silence when printing models, as it's mainly for hobby use, myself and my kids like painting them.

I only use PLA and I've seen machines with multiple spools to use different colours with, though this isn't important as we paint the models but sounds pretty awesome and my Predator figurines may benefit from this.

I've seen the K1 and K2 but obviously the price differs.

So, I'm looking for a machine that is enclosed and have the ability to get upgrades easily, budget is probably around £300/£350 and hopefully not many problems like my Ender V3, and where to buy them as I've seen good prices on the likes of Ebay ect

Flashforge adventurer 5m pro

Hello all, I'm new to the group and new to the Flashforge models (recently had a Creality ender v3 ke but got rid due to problems)

I'm expecting my Flashforge today, so I wondering if there any upgrades for this type of model, like filament spool upgrades ect

I've seen someone with 4 filament spools on the side, I know this is a different model, but can this model have the same adaptions and would I need to do anything to the machine?

Only been using 3D printers for just over 18 months now so I'm still classed as a beginner even though with the problems with the Ender V3 KE I kinda know most of the ins and outs with these machines.

Recommended 3D printers

Hello all, new to this group as well as new to the 3D printing world (kinda)

I've had a Ender V3 KE for over a year now, but these last fews days though the machine has caused nothing but problems, once one problem is resolved another 2 pops up, so I had to dispose of the machine.

I'm looking for another 3D printer as myself and my 2 kids love making and painting the models, myself as a Predator fan, I love making Yautja models, whilst my boy love gaming models, my little is autistic and loves to paint unicorns and loves fidgets.

So I'm looking for something that is a great price range, not going to have thousands of problems, easy to assemble and mostly used for small models (10/12 cm in height)

Thanks in advance ☺️

Recommendations

Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a great, withing the budget, 3D printer?

I did have a Ender V3 KE for about a year, but there's always one problem after another, so I've disposed of this nightmare of a machine and now looking for a more reliable machine.

Cromgrow Artic Grip

Is it me, or are these plates a disaster in the making?

Bought an Cromgrow artic grip and I've had nothing but problems, sorted the auto Z level and 9 models in and not one worth keeping.

Holes in filaments, filament streaking, details looking terrible, it's come to the crunch now that im back using my old plate and using Pritt sticks, as I've never had a problem then compare to now!

Anyone have this problem with these types of plates?

Need some advice

I'm in need of some oil as my runout filament sensor keeps squeaking, so i need some safe to use oil as I understand some oils end up sticky, which I want to avoid.

I usually shop on Amazon, so any details or links would be great 👍

Adalimumab

My Psoriatic Arthritis has spreaded to my left and right pelvis, had an MRI scan on spine and pelvis to see the outcome, luckily enough it hasn't fully reached my spine (I think), however, wear is on the upper & lower spine.

Weird thing though, as on my letter from the Rheumatology specialist, it states, and I quote " if your arthritis is more active, then one option to treat the inflammation of your joints as well as the inflammation of your spine would be anti - TNF therapy"

So my guess is, it has spreaded to my spine but not as much as other areas of my body.

So, my Rheumatology specialist will be putting me on Adalimumab.

At first I thought it might be Methotrexate (though this may still happen) but i was wondering if anyone is on the Adalimumab and what is the outcome once it takes effect?

Anyone used those heated neck pads?

Hello all,

With psoriatic arthritis on my upper spine, I tend to be suffering a bit more when I turn my neck in any direction, the cracking and popping are really getting annoying and it just adds to the pain.

I've used those heated microwave neck pads but the heat doesn't last long, so I wondering if anyone has used one of the USB heated ones of Amazon and maybe recommendations?

Thanks in advance ☺️

Doesn't make sense!

Hello all,

Once again, I've been rejected for a mobility on planning and following, even though I've literally sent proof!

Weird thing though, is they are basically saying for me to go for a "change in circumstances"

Also, if you look at the letter, they have reviewed the evidence including the telephone call last Saturday, yet only going to consider my needs on the 11.03.2026!!!! Even though they already have the evidence of my Psoriatic Arthritis and Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) along with scores, doctor comments, medication ect

I'd expect this to go to tribunal?

However, i do think this may been my fault as scenarios will show below,

S1, when got rejected, called DWP to accept and reject the outcome, rejected decision on planning and following, went to Mandatory Reconsideration.

S2, sent the proof out after the MR, would the evidence be valid, not sure but the letter says they looked at it.

S3, they rang on Saturday morning about me being a carer for my daughter, so I sent a letter out explain how I look after her and how it doesn't make me worse?

Thing is though, they still looked at the evidence that supports my mobility needs and how GAD has majorly affect me, I'm at a loss here and head is everywhere atm.

Can someone clarify, the image above is the letter that came today, thanks.

Went in for Mandatory Reconsideration, and got a text this morning followed up with a call, start asking questions about me receiving carer allowance for my daughter.

My condition is Psoriatic Arthritis and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, so I don't get out much.

My daughter is none verbal and has communicated problems, she's a 10 year old with a mind of a 5 year year old.

I said to the caller I a drive her to places like parks and school which are local but in the house it's mainly just watching her day and night and sitting on the landing when she's having a bath or shower when my wife is at work, my wife is a barmaid at our local social club and works 16 hours and she's also a carer for her own mother, about 35 hours a week she spends looking after her.

Now I've got this feeling I'm going to be rejected because I'm a carer and didn't explain what I have done on here, I have between 7 to 10 days before they make a final decision, maybe I need to send a letter to them?

Any help would be great 👍

Hello all,

Just a quick question, got a text message last week stating my MR will be looked at on the 3rd, but it'll be looked at on the 5th because I'm sure they don't work on a Sunday and Monday is bank holiday.

Anyway, I sent my proof documents for my GAD (GAD score, doctor comments with the score and tablets I'm currently on) which should support what I got rejected on.

So question is, how long will it take until I hear back from the MR report from the medical professionals?

I've read different time scales, thanks in advance.

Since PSA is destroying my body, the wife and I have decided to get a car as the current one we have (Peugeot e 2008) is hurting my back and leg when I get in and out.

The Psa has spread to both my hands and finger tips, lower and top spine, right knee and both feet, so a high rise vehicle is what we are looking for.

As we are based in the UK, I'm thinking of something like a Citroën Berlingo or Vauxhall e Combo Life but I've noticed some of these don't have features that I need like reverse camera, heated steering wheel ect

Any recommendations? And please no large SUVs where you need a step to climb up as my mother in law wouldn't be able to get in and out 😆
