How have your scent preferences changed over time?

When I was about 12-18, I loved sweet scents. Basically, if it smelled like a bakery or straight-up candy, I liked it.
As I’ve gotten older and changed quite a bit, I’ve noticed I prefer more natural notes such as rose, lavender, hay, and herbal notes. I still like some sweetness, but not too much. I’m curious to hear other people’s experiences with this kind of thing. Thanks in advance to anyone who shares their experience. (:
