Selling a car in NCR which is registered in a different far-away state

This query is for those car owners who have exchanged or sold their old cars in NCR which are registered in a far-away state.

How smooth was the process? Did you face any issues because the car was registered in another state? Want to hear your first-hand experience.

I haven't made up my mind about a new car purchase. Due to this petrol mess I am evaluating options to either buy a new car by exchanging old car or buy a good used car not older than 5 yrs.

Listing out possible ways of selling which are known to me:

(i) Exchange on purchase of a new car

(ii) Sell to individual buyers

(iii) Sell to platforms like Spinny/Cars24

(iv) Sell to used car dealers

For context: I am currently driving a JH reg car in NCR which is into its 11th yr.

Help me choose between TPMS or Tyre Inflator or Tyre pressure gauge

Car usage: My daily usage is hardly 5 kms. Occasional weekend drives 50-100 kms. Self-drive road trips (1000-1500kms) once in 5-6 months with avg 2-3 adults + 1 kid + luggage in Baleno car.

Currently I rely on petrol pumps preferably having digital tyre pressure displays for maintaining accurate tyre pressure.

After reading posts here I discovered that Treel TPMS is popular and also tyre inflators. Further, inflators come in multiple varieties - Chargeable battery storage or wire connected + ignition on. Then there are simple digital tyre gauges as well.

Now I am confused which product(s) should i buy?

  1. Only TPMS - It should give alerts for pressure dip & then i can get it topped up at a pump or using own inflator. I am inclined towards Treel 3800/- variant w/o digital display as it will connect with mobile app.

  2. Only Inflator - which can check pressure when required and also top up. Again which type - chargeable battery operated or ones which require ignition. It can help top up my cycles and 2w also. Inclined towards STARQ Inflate Pro as suggested by some.

  3. Both - Are both actually needed?

  4. Only digital pressure gauge?

Those who are experience using these devices pls guide me as i have an upcoming trip in Aug and would like to take decision before i start.

Does battery range reduce after 3-4 yrs of usage (V2 Lite owner)

Background: I bought a V2 Lite in Mar-25 and its give a real-world range of 63kms on eco mode after full charge. There is no range/battery degradation so far in 15 months use. It contains a single battery with a capacity of 2.2 KWH. I charge it at home only as there are no commercial charging facilities here.

My use case: I live in a rural area and mostly use it for short daily trips within a 2-3 km radius- ropping kids to school/activity classes, shopping etc. In last 15 months I have covered 4500 Kms without any issues. Occasionally I ride to nearest town which is a round trip of 25-30 kms.

Concern:

  • How much does the battery range degrade after 2–4 years? Since the V2 Lite is the base variant with a real-world range of around 63 km in Eco mode, I'm concerned that if the range gradually drops below 40–50 km, it could become inconvenient.
  • Has anyone here replaced the battery? If yes, how much did it cost, and what was the process like?
  • Can someone explain the battery warranty and the "70% battery health" assurance? I've seen this mentioned in a few posts, but I'm not sure what it actually means. Can someone please explain.

Overall I am very satisfied with the product. The only thing which has started to worry me is this future battery anxiety.

Need check-in luggage suggestions

I am seeking suggestions to replace my existing 10 yr old medium-size check-in trolleys. These were bought offline and served well but are now showing signs wear and tear. These are from VIP & AT and material is softshell polyester fabric.

Sometime back I ordered a best seller Safari trolley from Amazon for about 2-2.5k in a sale but I found its quality inferior to what I am using currently. It's giving me thoughts that these online products might be inferior to what's sold offline but price difference seems high between online and offline.

Annual Usage about 7-8 trips: 5-6 self-driven car road trips (overnight, short and long trips) and 2-3 trips via trains & air.

Budget: Unsure as I dont have any major recent buying experience but can stretch upto 5k per trolley.

Material: Undecided, pls suggest.

Brands: Again undecided, whatever works for next 8-10 yrs and fits in budget. Nowadays I am seeing lots of marketing for these new age brands like Nasher miles, Mokobara. Not sure if they are any better than old established players like VIP, Safari, AT etc.

I did a basic search online and found that most medium sized trolley brands have almost similar products and mixed reviews. Ex- some have twin wheels & some dont, weight ranges from 2.8kg to 4kg, AT is giving 3 yrs Intl warranty, Provouge is having expandable facility + 5 yrs warranty, etc.

"Annualised Return(%)" column for Mutual fund folios (F) removed by NSDL in CAS from Apr-26

Has anyone noticed that in the CAS (Consolidated Account Statement) sent by NSDL for the month of Apr-26 & May-26, the column for Annualised Return(%) for mutual fund folios is omitted? It was appearing upto Mar-26 and was really useful in assessing performance of mutual fund holdings in a single page.

Need suggestions for Trekking items for Himalayan treks

Hello trekkers.

So far I have been wearing my regular winter track suits in Himalayan treks (Sar pass/KGL etc). However since they are ageing, i am planning to replace them with proper trekking/hiking T-shirts and trousers. I found Decathlon T-shirts and trousers expensive at min starting range of 1k. Hence looking for suggestions for alternative brands with similar products at more economical price points for following:

Full sleeve trekking T-shirts (quick dry types) for wearing during the trek (before reaching next campsite)

Trekking trousers (already have a warm fleece lined trouser from Quechua and looking for a non-fleece lined trouser)

Light weight down jacket/Feather jacket

Also how different is a track suit from a trekking T-Shirt + trouser. Say if i compare a trek pant vs a track pant?
