Anyone know what this is??

Anyone know what this is??

It is a random plant that was growing and I’ve just let it grow because I’m curious what it is. It did have a baby lupine in it but that died and this has been growing ever since.

I’ve lost what little confidence I had

Just a few hours ago I was watching a neighbors kid while his mom goes to work. My mom offered to switch with me so I could take a break. She’s walking down our apartment sidewalk with both mine and her dog doing some training. Another neighbor’s dogs started barking like crazy and aggressive, very reactive dogs who supposedly are just under a year old and un-neutered. So my mom kindly offered to help them train their dogs, like exposure training with our dogs so they don’t react aggressively. The dogs owner just…EXPLODED on my mom and called her a bully, entitled, and a bitch, while also claiming our dogs were aggressive. Me who has extreme anxiety, just immediately felt sick and wanted to just break down crying. This lady just refused to see how dangerous her dogs could be if she doesn’t train her dogs. She said they were doing their job being aggressive.

This drama has just zapped what little confidence I had left in training. And I’m also afraid to be outside because of irresponsible dog owners like her. I also don’t know if that lady is going to retaliate in a bad way or not.

Native cultivar of Coreopsis attracted an Orange legged furrow bee

Mistook this cultivar as the native lance leaved coreopsis so I’m just keeping it in a pot instead of putting it in my rock garden😅

What spider is this?Found in Western Washington, North America.

Instead of my family killing every single spider in our house, I’m usually the one rescuing them.

She keeps on giving🥹

So I was told that she would give pups before she dies. Well…she did, gave me two pups. So I thought she’d die finally, but NO, she’s making two more pups! How is this mother still alive?? 😅

What could this be?

It is growing in the bark along the ground almost like how strawberries send runners out to spread. Located Mason County of Washington.

Does this look like root rot?

A month ago some leaves did get mushy and I removed them, but haven’t had any more that have gotten mushy yet. Just wondering if I should let her dry out completely before repotting in a better soil and if I should soak her to see if there are any squishy roots?

How to send a cutting safely through the mail service?

(not sure if this the right tag) So I want to send my friend a cutting from one of my Pothos, but I live on the west coast of the US and she lives on the east coast. How would I send one safely to her? It could take a week for it to arrive at her home.

My very first pothos that I’ve had almost a year ☺️

This girl gets a lot of morning sun from about 8am to noon and then a lil bit of evening sun for an hour. I water her when she’s looking and feeling limp. July 20th of 2025 is when I got her so I’ve nearly had her a whole year🥹🩷

Looking for PNW ground cover, Located Zone8b

This a slightly older picture but don’t let it fool you, it can become pretty dry if I don’t water regularly. This area gets lots sun from morning all the way until about 4pm. At most it gets watered once or twice a week, but more often when it’s really hot. I’m looking for ground cover that can tolerate some drought and hopefully thrive in this compact drier soil. I already have three unfortunately cultivated yarrows and a couple lupines. 🙂

Is this Lupinus Perennis?

This grows wild where my bestie’s property is. We live in Western Washington.

Are these native lupine? Zone 8b

This lupine grows pretty much wild where my friend lives, both on her property and her neighbors. It grows in the overgrown areas and has volunteered to grow in my rock garden(which her mom gave me an area to make my own) 🙂

Is my Columbine doing ok and is that a seed pod at the top?

I don’t know if the leaves mean she’s not getting enough sun or getting too much, just worried if she’s doing ok🥲

Located in Shelton, Wa.

Strawberry advice?

My friend’s mom’s garden has a garden bed full of strawberry plants. But she is tired of the berries growing on the ground because they get mushy icky. Any advice on how she should grow them to avoid that?

Welp I think the wind yesterday was a tad too strong for her😢

I feel a bit sad about this and wish I knew that was going to happen in order to prevent it. My poor Angelica baby 😣
