Like youtubers n shit

I have about 30 - 45m to practice each but im stuck not sure what to do beside practice a song im already pretty good at. I understand the importance of scales so i do memorize them but theyre not very challenging and thats really it. What else can i do to improove?

So my very close and generous friend who for context has given me a lot of free shit. Including a fairly new guitar, shoes a hoodie among other things.

I was talking to him about the cost of my windshield replacement on my car when he said he said hed be willing to help out with the cost, i said ok cool. A few weeks go by and he hasn't given me anything nor updated me on if he still can or whatever. Which honestly didnt bother me all that much cuz it's not his car, not his responsibility. It wasnt even a promise He only suggested the offer. But i brought it up to him yesterday and mentioned "hey im not asking you for money, im just saying you gave the impression you were gonna give me something and didnt" i reqlly tried emphasizing that im not asking nor expecting anything. But he's really upset saying im very ungreatfull and that maybe he should have charged me for the 2 guitars and next time hell ask for money before giving me something. He says thay he still wants to complete that promise he just hasnt had the money (which i can understand) and honestly when he said that i felt like an ass hole. So am i?

Update: this is so embarassing but yea i am the asshole. I've just apologized to my friend. Thanks for the honesty reddit
