2 years and migrated filler won’t budge

I’ve had filler a few times over the last 5 years, dissolved and refilled twice with no issues (when I was younger, and unaware of the danger). I’ve been wanting to dissolve for the last 2 years as the migration / moustache is making me miserable but I’m terrified of complications. I just wish I never got it

I don’t know if this is the right sub but are there any ways to dissolve it naturally?

The last time I got filler was around 2024, and I don’t think I’ve had more than 1ml out in after dissolved. My bottom lip is naturally a lot bigger than my top lip

I can’t take serrapeptase due to blood issues too. I did have a dissolve appointment booked but cancelled the day of and lost my deposit due to the stories I’ve heard on here

I’m also 10 months pp if that’s makes any difference

Any help would be appreciated!

Struggling with anxiety and want to avoid finger foods - and just serve small chunks?

My little boy has just turned 10 months and I’m really struggling with progressing from mashed foods to finger foods.

I’m a single mum with no co-parent, and I have quite bad anxiety. I wanted to start BLW at 6 months, but I lost confidence and now I feel like we’re behind. He’s happy with mashed foods and little baby wafers, but I still often break the wafers into smaller pieces because he tries to put the whole thing in his mouth and it really scares me.

I’ve done an infant first aid course and I also have an anti-choking device, but despite that I’m still finding it really difficult to move on to finger foods

This morning I made him French toast. I made a finger-food strip, but in the end my anxiety got the better of me and I broke it into small soft pieces instead (photo attached). He ate them really well, but I couldn’t bring myself to give him the strip

I’m booked onto a next steps feeding session at my local Family Hub next week, which I’m hoping will help.

I use Solid Starts, but everything seems to recommend finger foods. My question is:

Has anyone progressed by offering small pieces first and then increasing the size over time, rather than jumping straight to finger foods? Is it okay to do that, just avoid finger foods all together? 😂

I’m really trying to push through my anxiety because I want to do what’s best for my little boy, but I’m really struggling 🤦‍♀️

(Also his meals usually have more variety, this morning was just French toast w Greek yoghurt and blueberries bc I was nervous with the toast 🫣)

Anxiety with textures & finger foods

I have very bad anxiety and I’m really struggling with offering my 9 month old finger foods and I’m even nervous adding in texture slowly.

I have the solid starts app and all the books, but I’m terrified. The only thing I feel safe with is yoghurt and everything blended to oblivion, if my baby coughs when eating I have a heart attack 🤦‍♀️

I’m also a solo mama so it’s just me when my bub is eating. I’ve got the kiddilicious wafers too but even those scare me to give me whole 😭

I know I need to get a move on and get over this for the sake of my little guy, but it is so hard. Any tips are welcome - thank you! 🫶

Solo holiday with a 1 year old?

I’m a solo mama and I’m thinking to take my baby away for his 1st birthday. I’m based in the UK so somewhere short haul like Europe, for around 4/5 days. Has anyone done a holiday alone? Any tips? All advice/recommendations welcome!

Thank you xx

I was under review in feb, submitted everything and then had a compliance interview last Friday. I’m self employed and on maternity leave so I think there was some confusion within my claim, as I submit my income and expenses every month.

The call on Friday was fine and I explained everything, I was told she would close it on the system.

But I’ve had nothing since, I put a message in my journal yesterday asking for an update but still nothing. I suffer with anxiety so the waiting is killing me and making me spiral. Any advice?

We live in a very small 1 bedroom flat with an ottoman bed (I need the storage), so there’s nowhere at all to put the mattress on the floor or to get a floor bed. My 7 month old is rolling around everywhere so I’m desperate for a solution but ofc worried about entrapment.

Does anyone have any recommendations please?

I’ve been thinking about making a sidecar but as our room is so small it will involve removing most of the furniture to rearrange it, and I’m a solo mum so I can’t organise that any time soon 😭 (also not sure if it can work with an ottoman)
