3 year old - car sick - long car journey coming up

I have a 3 year old who is sporadically carsick. It’s not every time but it’s enough that I’m spooked driving and worried I’m going to be wiping sick out the car seat again..

That said; we have a potentially 12 hour drive coming up to see an unwell relative. We are trying to figure out the best way to logistically do this (overnight vs during the day etc) but I’m looking for tips for a journey like this - is there medication for car sickness? Would an iPad or tray with toys make the sickness worse?

Thanks!

8 month old dorgi pup with low grade luxating patella - currently doing 2 weeks of loxicom and then reassessing but can anyone explain what will happen next/ what to expect? Thanks

Showing signs of pain when touched inconsistently for the last 5 weeks or so, but she was in heat during this time and wasn’t sure if she was just more sensitive than usual.

Just diagnosed with a low grade luxating patella - we’ve got 2 weeks of loxicom and reduced walks but after that - I’ve got no idea what to expect. Any tips/support? Thanks

2012 Swift gears not holding and no reversing

This is what I can see when I get into the gear box - what do I need to be buying? Is this an expensive fix or can I do it myself?

Weaning off lexapro after 15 years

As the title suggests .. I’ve been on lexapro for a really long time. I had tried a few other meds before we settled on this one and it had the least life-altering side effects so I just ended up staying on it. I’ve tried to wean off before and really struggled, but I’ve bumped between 5-10-15-20-15-10-15 mg for a while.

Right now, I’m doing another attempt at weaning off. I tried a few months ago and it was a harrowing experience - the brain zaps were crazy and I was emotional and angry so I stopped.

Right now, I’ve gone from 5mg down to 2.5mg. I’m coping better this time but I’m not sure whether to just alternate days or stop taking them or try and cut the 5 up even smaller ..

Anyway - has anyone tried successfully weaning off after being on for so long? I need to know it’s possible!

Stress fracture in foot - sick leave?

As per the title, really - got a stress fracture in my foot that has been getting progressively worse. Just had an X-ray that confirmed it’s a fracture - what do I do now? I work fresh so it’s all lifting and moving etc and there aren’t really any lighter duties there? I’d prefer not to be off on long term sick as I can’t afford to. What are my options?
