What BS are these HP Policies!

I was working in my room on my laptop and I discovered that the laptop had suddenly stopped charging. I removed the charger and again inserted the pin in the port and the port started emitting smoke and a burning smell. I immediately contacted the HP support to send a technician for diagnosis. The Technician visited and found that it was a 'Thermal Event'. He told me that it's due to the moisture in the weather as these days we had high rainy days here in Pune. But these people have soldered the ports directly to the motherboard. Hence in case of even an issue as small as regarding the charging port, the entire motherboard has to be changed. Like seriously? However the technician said it is not a problem by your side hence it will get covered in the warranty as my HP Omnibook 5 is just 6 months old. I'll attach a screenshot of the field inspection report. Later I received a mail from HP support saying the case is closed! That's it. The case is closed. For what reasons? They didn't inform me. Before closing the case they didn't even think of communicating the issue today me. They simply closed the case with no reason in the mail. Later when I spoke with the support person he sent me this link where the HPs policy states "we don't cover any internal damage under warranty". Seriously? If these guys can't build laptops that can survive even the slightest due in the atmosphere how is it my fault? When they themselves state that this is not an issue caused by me then isn't it their responsibility to get me covered for this? Now just for a charging port issue these guys are gonna cost me 25-30k Rupees!? What BS is even this.
