Skip ahead to SOLUTION if you don’t want to read a bunch of ranting, shitting yourself/cosplay skins and their prices, comparing them to Aberrant John Doe, and just want to hear my solution to this problem 

RANT:

Ok, we all know and agree that the yourself/cosplay skins are kinda… well actually no, ABSOLUTELY ASS. Yourself skins (killers) blocks front, back, and waist accessories, and on top of that, and Cosplay skins on top of that blocks clothes too. Making these skins of which the cost ranges from 1,000$ (Noob only) to 7,500$ (everyone else, excluding Jane, Veeronica, Two Time who don’t have cosplay skins) for survivors and from 15,000$ to 20,000$ for killers. (Sixer and Nosferatu don’t have yourself skins)

If we do some math:

1,000+(7,500×8)+15,000+16,000+18,000+19,000+20,000 = 149,000$

To get every Yourself/Cosplay skin, you have to grind 149,000$, almost 150k FOR THIS (image above), it’ll probably be +200k when everyone else (including Azure) gets their Yourself & Cosplay skins as well.

For 149k, I’m expecting PEAK, I’m expecting QUALITY, I’m expecting something worth my money… Yourself and Cosplay do not fulfill ANY of expectations. Meanwhile for just 20k you get completely custom animations, a high quality design, unique kill animations for every survivor, custom chase theme, and custom intro and outro, who am I talking about? Aberrant John Doe, worthy every damn point.

SOLUTION:

ALRIGHT, with my “little” rant out of the way, I present my solution to the yourself skin problem, to satisfy the people who want to play their ACTUAL avatar, to prevent people from using big items to hide their animations or confusing other players who they are, and to make the price of these skins valid.

I present… player-sided Yourself Skins. How it works is, when you equip and wear a yourself skin in a round, from your pov, you will appear as your actual avatar, showing ALL the accessories you have equipped; of course, the weapon of the killer WILL still appear, such as 1x’s Demonshanks, John’s spike arm and claw, Noli’s Void Star. No killer accessories however, like 1x’s crown, Noli’s mask, John’s eye and smile; while to other people, you will appear as the default skin of the character.

This does a few things:

1. Lets you play AS your current avatar, not from Temu version due to removing a few (or many) accessories. 
2. Since your accessories are only visible to you, the only person you’ll be bother if you equip an avatar with big cosmetics like wings or boxes, yourself.
3. Makes the price of this skins actually worth it. (20k for current yourself John vs Aberrant John is a no-brainer, Aberrant solos the whole yourself and cosplay groups)

This version of the Yourself skins could actually merit a price increase even (For survivor only though, killer are a high enough price already), don’t quote me on that tho.
